I hate that little sonic guy. Just run a round grabing rings. Its a rip from Mario grabing coins. I tell you, everything that NES made Sega copyed. I hate Sega.

Yeah but he's alot faster and even a bit better than mario. What game idea isn't taken from another. Most games have the platforming idea taken from mario and some of these are good games.

There are but not for ideas. Nintendo can't sue Sega for creating sonic. If that was true well there wouldn't be any new games or consoles out. We would probably never have mario since there was a game before Super mario brothers that used running and jumping. Taking the idea then creating something new happens everytime its also produced some wonderful and bad results. Take mario dance dance revolution for example.

No they can sue for the words in the music. If they created lets say the beats to the song well yeah they can sue too. If who ever made the beats allows others to use it well no law suit. Not everyone use's the same notes and cords to create music. I actually think its rare if they do.

and i actually PREFER Sonic to Mario, or at least i did, back in the 32bit days. Sonic games were faster, and the gameplay was more entertaining (at least, so it seemed to me). Though the little b*stard flew off a ledge into lava far too often for my liking.

I remember now, but devil may cry1-2 were easy and viewtiful joe is ok. Sonic series was good during the 32bit days. Play Metal Gear Solid 3 online and you will throw your stick down many times ixz.

I've beat DMC1 on Dante Must Die mode, DMC2 on Dante Must Die and Lucia Must Die mode, and DMC 3 on Dante Must Die mode. It was the hardest thing I've done in a game.

Mario is better than Sonic, and likewise, but in different ways. If you want a nice, explore-y platformer, then Mario. If you want to burn it up, it's Sonic.

Yea, Mario Has power flowers, stars, mushrooms. Everything that a hippy could ever want. I did not see any joints But you get what I mean. You have feathers and frog suits. 4 colored Yoshi's and a racoon that turns into a statue. How can you beat all those cool things? So the little blue man gos zooom! I think theres more to do with Mario then Sonic.

Thats a nice way to put it ixz. Sonic does have powers as well, but they don't last long unless he turns to super sonic. I like them both. Except mario is a filty whore

I don't have a good enough reaction time to deal with Sonic's super-high speed. At least not in the 2D games. The 3D ones, I very much enjoy the speed, and I can see obstacles coming up ahead of time. I do run through the levels of Mario 2D mario games, but I am able to better prepare myself for what's ahead. Besides, you can't beat having a Raccoon tail and multicolored dinosaurs (man, I wish Nintendo would make a Mario game with a transformation power-up like the Power Leaf and include Yoshi as a power-up all in the same game).

... i don't see any crazy mario pinball game around here, is the only thing.

sonic spinball was, in my own humble opinion, f*cking awesome, and grossly underappreciated.

one more point to sonic
