Okay, I know that the price for the PS3 is higher than expected. But lets take a look at something. The original price for a SUPER NINTENDO game back when they first came out would be up to $75.00 (ex: Breath of Fire) And even $85.00 (Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI). Now a days we pay alot less for games. Actually almost half the price of what super nintendo games did. With that factored in, depending on the number of titles you own, you will actually save money in the long run.

Or that's how I like to justify it.... >_____>

You are right those games were high back then. Higher than the current ones.

Awsome, all of the Magonians are invited!

For the reception, we need to all play some form of MMO game...

I don't think I ever payed any attention to game prices way back when, so I never got to witness the high prices that people say there were. All I know is that Yoshi's Story cost $50.

And $600 is still a whole lot of money to spend all at once.

Hmmm... you guys think it's a lot of money because the thing's produced there. Here, it's imported from the USA.

Let's see the prices for the PS2 when it came out:

2000 reais.
Exchange rate around 2,8... that would make...
around 715 dollars.

That's a lot, ain't it?

I'm afraid of the PS3 prices. I guess I won't even buy it.

To make a point that is actually on tipic: I heard that the PS3 will take out their rumble function within their controller to make room for the tilt sinsitivity features just like in the Wii. I also heard they will be wireless or (when the battery is low) connected via USB. The only other thing I've heard is that they may have a power button to turn the console on right in the middle of the controller...

Dude, I feel like I'm living in a closet with all these new happenings... Tell me what is this new," tilt sinsitivity feature?" I never really liked the rumble anyway. It tickles my hands. What is the "tilt sinsitivity supost to do?" Why and how does it work?

No matter what features they include, I will love my SNES forever and no matter what. It's the best console ever. No arguing.

Just like the football (soccer) Brasilian national team of 1970!! THE BEST EVER!

Amen, brother. SNES for eternity!!!

Oh, btw... anyone who is getting a Wii to get all their classic games back it waisting their money. *cough* Emulators... *hack* Roms....

And tilt functions the PS3 and Wii have work.... well, if you've seen the demo for the new sonic title for the Wii (Wildfire), that's how they work.

Basically the if you tilt the controller to the left, you can turn your characters to the left... This function will allow you to cast rods in fishing games, enable sword fighting by actually swinging the controller, and many more things.

I hear the Wii controller has pin-point precision like the old nintendo gun controller that will allow you to shoot Link's arrows exactly where you point on the screen in Twilight Princess... or so I hear...

It sounds cool. But it also sounds like something that can have a lot of problems. What happens if you lean over to eat or drink? That can mess up your whole game. Or if you stand up to quick when playing.
I hope it works well. :/
