.....Mostly.

But now, I'm taking care of my grandma, who's in the hospital. She hates it there.

A girl is 20 and the guy she is dating is 24. Is this wrong...

Hmm...

funny how things change when you put them in perspective.

But seriously, do this:
1) when you go to bed unplug the phone.
2) tell your family that you are trying to get a night shift job and it requires that you sleep durring the day.
3)as such, tell them that unless it is an employer, your girlfriend, or the government calling to please leave you alone.
4) to ensure this get a lock on your door. I use a hook and eyescrew system. you can get nice heavy duty ones at almost ANY home improvment or hardware store, however a latch and pad lock would probably be a better option in your case.

Now that you have told them this politely, and clearly, you will be totaly justifyed when, if they still insist on awakening you from your peaceful slumber you tell them to PISS THE f*ck OFF.

doing that, there's a pretty good chance that he'll get the whole

'Someone who wants to offer you a dream job called, but i didn't want to wake you'

thing. Ok, your instructions were implicit, but family always manages to f*ck it up for you. Trust me. I'm an expert on the whole:

'Oh yeah, i forgot to tell you...'

thing.

Well, until I find a job, I have to be woken up Monday thru Firday at 4:30 a.m. to tend to my grandmother until my brother arrives around 9:30 or 10:00.

Mom wants both of us to stay there until she arrives at 3:00, so to burn time, I play Lufia, or I play Pokemon TCG with my bro, while making sure grandma is doing okay. She won't eat or drink anything, which is sad.

So, when I get home at 3:30 or 4, I may get requests from my eldest brother or sister to drive them somewhere...maybe. But me, being the big softie I am, take them where they need to go...maybe I should start charging for rides if only my eldest brother and sister weren't broke as f*ck.

I'm still waiting for that phone call for the job though.

Then give them a follow up call. It'll show that youre really serious and interested.

perhaps if you're saying they won't be able to afford your driving them everywhere if you charge, you should charge anyway. It'd make them less likely to ask.

and Roy's right about the follow-up call. a reminder that you're there isn't going to damage your chances.
