American culture teaches you that your body has naughty bits. They're evil things! In other parts of the world, things are obviously much more open with public bathing and nude beaches.

I have no problem with it. It'd be a bit odd since I don't see that everyday or ever, but it's ultimately that person's preference.

The only problem is that Children are not allowed to know about Genitalia until they turn 18 and Suddenly Sprout Them!

We have our hmm... "sex ed" tape in the 5th grade for my local school district. So that's about right.

One time this one guy I know (he was telling us about his former girlfriend) was at her house outside and there were like seven lesbian chicks in the park with their tops off and he was playing hackey sack with them. and his girlfriend came to the window of her apartment and saw him and he was like oh sh*t cus she is all jelous and so these girls all turned and waved... cus it was funny.

I also never saw a sex ed tape. For me, they're just legends from american films. Well, that's okay though. Children are smarter than you think...

We learned the stuff here around grade 4. It suddenly became, you know, a fact for us kids by the time. Nobody thought it was dirty or anything...

I'm even remembering a joke right now:

Two parents go up to their 10-year old kid. "Sit down, son, there's something we'd like to talk to you about."

"What is it, dad?"

"Do you know how babies are born?"

"Oh no! I don't wanna hear! I don't wanna hear!!"

"Why? What happened?"

"At 6, I found out there was no Easter Bunny! At 8, I discovered that Santa was you!
If now you tell me adult don't DO IT then I've got no more reason to live!"

Well my 12 year old cousin has already figured everything, he knows about sex and the rest. Most people kids know about it. Hell before I came from the 5th grade I learned a couple of things about sex as well as my class mates did. More kids have attempted sex for they turn 13 and some are even pregnant during that time. Come to my town and you will see young girls that look like they are 19 but they are either 12-15. Also you will see more underaged pregnancies and diseases.

Here too. But there are two different situations for that; they're either middle- or high-class women with no responsability or poor women who have no choice, no education and no idea of what a condom is. The latter being a worse social problem than the first.

I know an 8-year-old (or he was 8 at the time) who already knew about the birds and bees. I'm not gonna say exactly what he said, but I didn't allow that akward moment to last more than a few seconds.

I was shy my whole life and because of that there were moments where I wanted to blow everything up, just of frustration.

Opposite with me. It was my lack of shyness that got me in embarrassing situations and was part of the reason I got tortured in school until I graduated. And apparently it's possible for people to stay immature jerks even when out of school.

^ You have no idea what I have been through. I have been stabbed, punched, kicked and beat by kids. I had my locker set on fire. I had people put gum in my hair,
tacks on my chair, I was always scared walking down the hallways at school. Going to a school in NY. With kids that have mental problems. My school had about 10 deaths a year. It was really bad. I know what its liked to feel alone. This is also why I don't like leaving my home. I don't really trust the hurtfulness of the outside world.

I live this thing there you're describing. It's hell on earth. But you just gotta find a way to deal with it, or you'll just end up hurt, wounded and afraid of the world.

You gotta realize that 'the world is mean and there's nothing you can do about it', but you must also make yourself a warrior to go out there and confront it.

You must be strong and have the willpower to confront the world and the people. You have also no idea what I've been through. But that's how it is and instead of crying, you msut strengthen yourself to stand out in the 'jungle'.

If you have any real friends, they help you build your self-esteem and trsut more than ANYTHING. Believe me.
