not really expensive if you don't have a job or money coming in every month

(Actually I don't, because I'm underage and live under my parents.)

But, as a matter of curiosity: how much is the monthly fee?

$15

But there is a scaled discount (a very small one albeit) if you purchase multiple months at a time.

U$15 is a little more than R$40. With that you can, in some places, even do sport activities... (my capoeira monthly fee is R$43) I guess not =P

But it IS a very good game.

Oh my. That reminds me of Diablo II (only online game I played seriously). One hell of a good game, but one hell of a hard time to level up. If WoW is anything like that... good luck to you guys.

Ah.... those were good times :)

Haha, I figured by expansion time they'd be doing that.(increasing the level cap).

It's actually very easy to level in WoW... do the quests, grind, sell, get better things to equip from drops and the store(also auction house, but I have no access in trial.) In FFXI, it took me a month to even get close to partying in the dunes, level 15ish(with two characters, and oh, that was on my main jobs, not even a sub jobs yet in which things get more sticky.)
In Runescape, I've had my account for 3 years almost and I'm only level 86/126 combat wise, and only have one skill maxed at 99(fishing). In Maplestory, the max character level is 200... not even the Koreans have reached that one yet, I think. In PSO, the highest level is 200. It's not too too bad, but it can take quite a while.

In WoW, in 8 days with 2 remaining, I have leveled a level 10 Paladin and a Level 11 Druid on Aerie Peak(which is inactive for now) and started a clone of my Paladin on Lightninghoof for my real life friend. I got to level 13 in two days on that character(mind you, I don't play all the time.:p) I guess it might be something you learn with experience, but it's so easy to grind once you get into the swing of things. The only thing that holds back leveling in WoW is if you're on a PvP server and liable to get ganked. Definitely something I'm going to have to deal with.D:
It's worth it to be able to own stuff once I max out and help my friend out with her guild by getting to that level.

I know it gets slower, just saying is all. As long as you're playing WoW and stuff, you could probably get to 60 in a month if you worked at it.:p

No doubt the game is fun though.

Oh my, you like online games don't you? That's a lot of games. Are you korean?

=P Nah, just kidding.

And by the way, to max out fishing... I never once saw a game with really good uses for fishes ^^

in WoW some fishes are good use in alchemy and cooking.

but yea. lvling to 1-20 is pretty easy. once after that things start getting abit harder and longer.

a friend of mine lvled his warrior to 60 in 11 days (in game mind u...) meaning he pretty much grinded it all.

i guess if u have no job, have insomnia, and nothing else to do u can lvl to 60 pretty darn fast...

I know someone who got a priest to 60 in 6 days of play time.

That is some hardcore leveling. >_>

My leveling wasn't bad.. 18 in the first day, and then at around the 12th day of play time, I dinged 60. And that was really slow considering I'm a hunter. So much wasted time, looking back on it. Could have easily done it in 7 days. <_< Yep.

I have many epix. you dont. :D

No way I could do that in a day, I would get too bored from it. Not that its not a good game but Its not that addicting to me :|

Heh. I know it should get tougher. Usually does in most games, I'm just saying it takes months in other games to hit max, but some people in WoW just hit 60 like it's nothing(10-20 days).

I'm being cautious and usually fighting things probably lower than I should be fighting, but I'm proud that I finished about all of the Elwynn forest quests and most of the Westfall ones.

I actually have 2 of those requirements, heh. But I have college soon, and I should be working on my costume and working on other things. Also, no money, haha.

By the by, what level are you ingame? How long did it take to get there?:O

...That's sick. I play other crap than WoW though, so maybe that's my problem.:p

18 the first day? Makes sense. I should have done that on the proper server instead of making two characters on a server I will probably never go back to. I wasted trial time. I did notice that once you start a race of any class, it's so much easier the next time around. It took me a lot longer to hit level 10 on my original Paladin than the reincarnation.:o

Lone, you're addicted... then again almost everyone I know who plays WoW is addicted. My level 60 rogue friend has been on since like, 6 am. It's noon here now.:o

---

Well, on that note, my trial died this morning. My achievements so far which are so craptastic it's not even funny after 10 days of casual playing or so.:p

Aerie Peak- Level 10 Paladin (Human), Level 11 Druid (Night Elf, dur)
New RPPvP server that my friend coerced me into-Level 15 Paladin

Level 15 Paladin(Can you tell I like skills?;p)
60+First Aid
65+Cooking
50 Fishing
65+Mining
50+Smithing
-2 Pieces of "Green" Armor(won in rolls)
-Resurrection Spell
-6 Talent Points Spent:p
-All Paladin Abilities and Spells up to level 15 except Holy Light(Rank 3)(freaking 20 silver I don't have.;p)
-Almost a whole bank of things to transfer to an alt for use or sell(You can not use the Auction House or the Mail system during the 10 day trial).

So yeah, as soon as I get $60(Game+GameCard) I'm totally going to buy this in August. :P

It actually scares me that these kinds of people exist. I mean, the ones to spend weeks from 6 AM to 11 PM just playing, playing, playing. Whew. That must give one damned headache.

im getting kinda bored with my hunter... so i started a druid on dunemaul. but druids take foever to lvl x_x

Druids are fun as hell...

Until I got WTFPWNT by Moonkin on the way to the Bear Spirit quest cave.D:

Hmm. I plan to make uh, a Draenei alt when that comes out. And before that, probably a Nightelf alt for inventory space who will be an occasional druid. But for now, obviously, I'll focus on my main. It's just nice to have another character to play if you get frusterated, methinks.
