No to the idea of selling character sets. If rm4 is on the ps3 and they are selling character sets I wouldnt buy them. Well you have a good idea going except microsoft will never go through the rpg maker on xbox anytime soon. I would like to use my microphone to have some voices in my game instead of reading text every now and then. I hope is has the power of rpg maker and rpg maker 2 as for creation and scripting both novice-expert. The will look better since its the ps3 but then again that would depend on Enterbrain in that department.

Who knows if it will wind up on the PS3 though. We keep getting told it will wind up on the "system with the most user base", but even if PS3 does wind up being super-popular despite pricing, it's gotta be super-expensive to develop a game on, especially if it's an RPG Maker game.

Its expensive enough to develop a game. There always will be 2d games.

It would be nice to make the insides of the houses
from scratch. You can put the table, kit and beds where
you want them.

How about streets with cars and trains for a diffrent types
of storys?

yeah it should let u choose a time you want to be in. 13th century/wizards, Now, Future, 1820-1920. It would be awsome that way so each time has its own charatcers...

Although, RPGM2 doesn't actually have trains, at least, I don't think it does. But it does have cars.

It already has tracks. All you need are a few VFX and buildings for the trains.
