well. most gamers at E3 were interested in seeing what the PS3 was up to. more the Wii. =\

"Japanese gamers were most interested in:

Impressions of the PS3 controller

Final Fantasy XIII information

PS3 price and release date

Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Snake playable announcment

PS3 menu & interface

PS3 online service

PS3 game pics

Polymorphic content surrounding FFXIII

Dragon Quest Swords

Square-Enix game pics"

eh. IMO i dont really care at all about any of the new consoles. just want good games to come out for once! and on time...*sigh*

I know just what you mean. I was thinking about this last night - I'm a huge Sony fan, PS2 all the way (but I won't be purchasing a PS3). I was playing Without Warning, Front Mission 4 and The Warriors (okay, The Warriors was on the Xbox, I'll admit). And I realized this very simple truth: I really don't care how great a system is, how powerful or pretty it is, I just like great games. Much like how Taizon mentioned earlier about Mario.

Anyways, I was previously interested in the PS3, until I heard how much it was going to cost. Then my enthusiasm wavered, and now I plan to purchase a Wii instead. Of course, I'll probably get a PS3 in a year or two for SquareEnix games (Squenix) and the ton of RPGs that are released for it, but I'm probably going to get a Wii instead and enjoy those games first.

Well there probably won't be any 3rd parties trying to make some games for the wii. Well I have a couple of ideas for a game but thats different.

I wish I had the means and money to go into game production. I'd probably help out the Psp because it's a system with so much potential despite the fact that there's hardly any good games on it.

I also intend to go "big time" someday. Or hoping, at least. I have an RPG idea that would work for the DS.

You guys should really keep that up. I know of some developers which started out in their "garage", both literally and metaphorically -- I used to design little games on my computer using The Games Factory (by Clickteam, I think it's clickteam.com). Of course, nothing ever happened with them, but it was a fun little engine to use for the sidescrollers I created.

But anyways, if I ever make it big into video game development, I'd probably work on the PSP since that little system has so much untapped potential.

Well you can still make games for the psp, if you have coding knowledge you could make some good homebrew for the psp.
