Next E3 is going to seem so disappointing.

I know! Oh well, I'm enjoying the hell outta this one.

It seems the Wii is the most impressive this year.

I haven't been keeping up with E3, but ever poll says that everyone thinks Wii has the best products. Who would you say has the worst? 360?

I'm not sure. Wii has kept me quite occupied over the last few days. Every time I heard something awesome about Wii/DS, something new would be announced!

I'd say that GC/GBA had it worst: only Super Paper Mario (though super awesome) is the only game out of those two.

Yep. GC is doing the worst. I completely forgot they were still in the run. Heh.


The GBA... poor system... the DS and PSP are beating the PSP off of it. I really did like the GBA though.

So how's the 360?

Well, they at least got Halo 3, which looks great. That's all I've seen from them.

Oh, and a GTA4 exclusive (?). Hotness.

Yeah I can't wait for GTA4. One offtopic thing about the psp now. There is an emulator in the works of a n64. I know nintendo will have something to steer the attention away from that.

At least the DS sees its fair shair of 2D games. The touch screen really helped save 2D gaming, IMO. So much so, that there's even a few 2D-ish games on PSP. They just need to bring 2D back to the consoles, and it's going to take more than Viewtaful Joe to do that.

I'm so pleased with Nintendo. Of course, all the trolls were like "OMG onlee lyke 4 gud gamez"... of Nintendo's first party. Now with more 3rd party support! Yayz! What good first-party games do MS and Sony have? Halo?

Shoot, they can't even complain too badly about the controller anymore. There's that new SNES looking one with joysticks!:D

SSB Brawl, the next Phoenix Wright game, a port of that crazy cheerleader rhythm game, Twilight Princess, and a crapton of old-school titles... Nintendo is made of win.

Sony have God of war, killzone 2 and some other things. The xbox 180 has halo10 Did a price come out for the wii yet?

I didn't catch God of War 2, is it looking pretty good? I just hope it stands up to be as good as the first GoW.

As for the price of Wii... I think it was announced in GI. Actually, it was an "expected" price, and I believe it was either "299" or "399", I can't remember. Either way, it's going to be much cheaper. And 100% backwards capability? How far back does it go? NES? Either way, I'm for it as long as it can go back to the N64 - "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time"... ftw.

But personally... I'm really getting tired of these first person shooters all the time. I really want to see some other games, and as for the 3rd person shooters, I haven't been too satisfied other than the GTA series - even the new Scarface doesn't interest me. Actually, MGS4 interests me, as well as the other of the MGS and MG series -- but then again, that's a whole different twist of gameplay other than the "run out in the open and shoot, duck, reload, repeat" formula.

The RPGs looked great for all systems, though. I can't wait for Valkrye Profile: Silmeria.

And what the heck's up with G4? They had the words "Valkyre Profile: Slimeria" showing during the demo last night. They had "Slimeria" posted instead of "Silmeria." I thought, maybe it's a typo? And then when they talked about it, they kept saying "Slimeria" despite the fact that 1) everyone calls it "Silmeria", 2) the game's named "Silmeria", and 3) the very display they were standing around had the title patched all over it clearly reading "Silmeria". G4 is just too off sometimes. Though Adam Sessler is getting funnier.

Theres no chance that I'll get the systems on the first release. That kinda seems like a bad idea since problems do arise.

Maybe, but you have to be very unlucky to encounter such a problem with Nintendo's systems. I've had N64 and GameCube since their launches. They've both been played to death...no wait, they're nowhere near dead. Working like new, in fact. Heck my NES (from '89, I think) still works (it'd work even better if it weren't for how Game Genie can skrew up the connection piece). I can't say the same thing for SNES; that's 'cause I didn't even get one until the sleek models came out, and I got mine after I got my N64.

That's not to say Nintendo's launch systems are perfect, as there is the occasional problem system. They're so uncommon though, you have to be really unluckly to wind up with a faulty system. ...Which is apparently the first thing I said in this post. And I'll say it again! The odds of you winding up with a faulty Nintendo system are slim to none.

Not really true, my first gba lasted 2 days. And I didn't open it around that time. But that would say Walmart is responsible instead of nintendo. I'm just hoping that the wii doesn't have problems similiar like xbox 360

My friend found a GBA in an elementary school parking lot while it was raining, with a game inside. It still worked.

I've also heard of SNESs falling from decent heights and working, and when some video game magazine did the "durability" test, Nintendo came out on top.

You want broken? Try a PS2. The old models were pretty much guaranteed to stop reading blue discs for no apparant reason. I'm surprised my launch PS2 lasted as long as it did. I was pissed when it stopped reading blue discs for no reason.

Same here, but mines broke from family arguments and a cousin with a very bad temper. We both broke each others systems. The gamecube games are durable.

Let's see... my first PS2 just... flat out broke, so I gave the PS2 to one of my buddies Marvin while directly telling him it didn't work - oddly enough, it works perfectly fine when he starts using it.

My second PS2 broke down just a year or two ago back when I lived in Alabama. I traded it in, got credit for it, and have now gotten myself the new style PS2 (sliiiiim).
