Personally, I understand the eagerness behind KHII -- I and many other guys in the office were really excited when the game arrived, and as someone who's played and beaten the original and GBA title a number of times, I was definitely looking forward to this one. However, once I, and some of the others, started playing the game, it was a definite let down. The combat was way too simple, and while the number of attacks and abilities gives the player a lot of ways to kill opponents, it's eventually unfulfilling and boring. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful title with a great story, but literally turning it's back on most of the RPG elements and explorations of the worlds does the game a great disservice.

Well you can't please everyone, my KH2 arrives in the morning. But giving the game a 7.6 seems very low. Thats unexpected as well.

After playing (and FINALLY UNDERSTANDING IT--unlike my import copy) my shiny new copy, I have to say...IGN is full of sh*t. Thank you, have a nice day.

Man, I watched a friend play it at our all-nighter on Saturday. I just have to say, wow. It took him about 10 tries to escape from Hades on that one part. We all knew Hades was in this one, so that isn't a spoiler.:p
I wonder if that person who reviewed the game had it on proud mode. Cause it certainly doesn't look too easy on there.

The one gripe I saw while playing?? Donald Duck's repeated "I GOT ITTTT!" :lol

I like KH2, I got it the first day it came out (before the kids got out of school, even). It's pretty good, but for some reason it's a lot easier.

It's easy. Even on Proud Mode, the game's easy. Maybe I overpower my characters.

I was amazed by the low score....although most of the complains are the same as the first game really...

But the game being easy? That makes me wonder if I should bother playing......

Its only easy if you played the previous KH and put the level on easy. I did have trouble in the Hades level and the Tron level. I haven't finished it yet but I say that the game is good. I will give my score for the game when I beat it sometime this week or next week.

A week or two? sh*t, you got some free time on your hands.

Ah, the days when I did have so much time on my hands.....

I have less time on my hands now since college. But the game is suprisingly good, my only problem is the mermaid level. I hate it when they sing.

MASSIVE SPOILERS!!!

took me 4 day on normal to end the whole game the proof i did it is that you end up deafeating xemnas back into khearts then see end of world after you find ''the door to light'' wich lead you back on your home isle
then you see the last cutscene then the special ending ''keyblade war''

and i say if i compare it to kh1 its a big 10/10

I haven't finished the game yet but I'm giving it a 9/10 because of the little mermaid world. Too much singing and happy go lucky people around there for me.

Yeah, I didn't care for the Mermaid World. I also didn't care for Port Royal... it just didn't seem to fit into the rest of the game's bright, colorful worlds.

I'm poor and now jealous.
But I could see it potentially sucking.
Who knows, I was to lazy to read any posts but the first.

Personally the only games I will be buying (will even be financially able to purchase that is) are Twilight Princess and FF XII. And Advent Children as well I suppose.
I'll just borrow anything else that I A) have time for and B) actually manage to care about enough to play.
Video Games are quickly losing their appeal.
Or rather they've lost it, and now I await time-honored traditions to be fulfilled, which will hopefully prove with finality what some titles this past year have said to me: Not every game is subject to standardization and commercialization.
Hopefully, anyway.

I am not turok.

Advent children isn't a game, just a movie. And we don't exactly know whats going on with the twilight princes :/

Yes.
I was assuming I could throw it into the genre without ridicule, and avoid differentiating it from the others with long potentially exasberating sentences.
Apparently, Taizon, I was wrong.
