Because that's how it came, and I have no need to change it. Even though I don't pay attention to the page.

A home-made page with various links on it and "[font color=#22aa44 face=tahoma size=2]" in a textarea.

agetec's forum. I'm an admin there, and if it wasnt my homepage I'd likely forget to check it.

Google - though i really like rob's idea. my google thing has links on it and daily quotes and what not, it takes a long time to load on my computer though... i'm very tempted to change it to something home made now >___> hmm

Blank page! I kind of miss it opening with something though, so I'll probably set it to gamefaqs.:p

How does one create a homepage? Unless you mean places like Geocities.

A homepage is something you see everytime you open a new browser. Now if you want to create your own without using somrthing like geocities you can always use html.

It's just a bunch of simple HTML and Style Sheets on my hard drive. It doesn't need to be online.

I might actually do that, then. I seem to recall doing something like that at school some years ago. I think simply throwing HTML in Notepad works, right?

It works, or you can do it the lazy way and use Dreamweaver. I used it in school so I have some knowledge of it

Dreamweaver is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. You don't need to know much code in order to make something with it.

However, I find the program annoyingly complicates things I want to do. But that's because I'm used to writing code without a billion icons and help guides.

And Rob, you should really get HTML-Kit. It highlights lines and everything. Makes coding a lot easier to see.

Eh, I guess. I never really have any problems with my coding though, since I organize it oh-so-brilliantly.
