I guess I just found #3 a bit too easy to build stuff with. Of course, all that will change, as I've started looking at #2. It will definitely take a while to get a grip on how that one works! Haven't done much with that one yet other than to make a "test data" file with all the preset stuff and start looking at how it's put together. Right now I don't have any ideas kicking around for a game, so it will definitely be a while before I have something playable on #2.

I didn't think I built 'em that fast... Land of Mystery took 3 months to build, and Hidden Valley/Hamano Miharu each took roughly a month. On the other hand, Mr. Oak, my RPG Maker pavilion garbage contest entry, took less than a day.

Now, whether or not anyone actually likes the games I built, who knows... but I'm happy with the way they turned out and had a lot of fun building them.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to make an RPGM3 game in short time (especially since it's easy to hit the people limit fast). Even RPGM1 games take more work, and not just because of the controller-typing.
