I said the same thing when I saw the Naruto dub. Poor Rock Lee can't use contractions.(example being, he always says "it is" instead of "it's")

How much of Pokemon was censored or edited? A lot. Heck, one episode was skipped entirely (or maybe it aired a couple times; I read on Wiki that one did before it was taken off the air) before it was brought back as "The Lost Episode" with an almost completely edited script and some scenes cut out and Ash getting a Trophy for saving the day instead of Ash's mom getting a Trophy for being the best bikini girl. Which showed only once I think. Which means the flashback Ash has in a later episode pretty much is showing an episode that technically doesn't exist.

There's also the Safari Zone episode that never made it here, where Ash was supposed to catch all those Tauros. And all because Team Rocket used actual guns to hold the owner of the Safari Zone hostage.

Then there's that seizure-inducing episode with the Porygon. To my understanding, all they needed to do was cut that 15-second section out, and the rest of the episode would have been fine.

Long story short, 4Kids sucks.

4Kids are murderous bastards that kill everything they touch.
