what the hell is Impa all about?

i mean, i know (think) shes been around a few times, but i never really kept track of her.

could someone please tell me what shes actually meant to be doing?

Impa is weird. When I first saw her on Ocarina of Time, on seiously though Impa was I guy......

Impa's actual role is the princess's caretaker.

She's the last of the "Sheikahs", and in some cases is a large merry woman but (like in OoT) other times she was swift strong and mystical.

She provides Link with wisdom throughout his quests.

She is weird......

Did anyone else wonder why the Zora realm never changed back once the boss was smote in OoT? Bugged me like crazy...

Impa seems to be the only Zelda character that doesn't look the same through each game (Link's hair color changing and PJs in WW do not count). Not counting enemies, which apparently underwent a similar change in the N64 games. The Zoras for example. In most games, they're these red mermen with fin ears that shoot energy balls at Link, yet in the N64 games they're friendly fish people. Did they de-evolve since the N64 games or something (assuming that the N64 games came first in the Zelda timeline)?

I don't think I've ever made it past the Gerudo fortress without getting caught once, so I think you have to be caught to proceed.

The Zoras were also those red fish-things on the first Zelda. And they are on Four Swords Adventures. So, that means they are both recent and old games...

Yeah, you had to get up to the thing in the Fortress to get one of the key things.
I loved that place....I was just sneaking around all the time, and it was FUN. It was like Goldeneye with hookshot and bow.

And Twinrova was my favorite boss, I thought it was the perfect mixture of hardness and enjoyability.

It bugged me at first when the Zora changed, but now I've grown accustomed to them, and the Zoras were relatively friendly in LttP...well you got the flippers from the big guy...but everyone else was shooting you, so kind of.

thinking about it, ive got to say Phantom Ganon is my favourite...

id forgotten how cool that fight was, with the wierd paintings and the classic tennis duel...

also, that b*stard did a lot of damage, especially since Link only had about 6 hearts at that point...
