Sorry, I have zero experience with RPGM1.

Have you tried looking at the scripts for the sample game?

It is always a good idea to start there because everything works. Start changing things and see what happens.

Eventually you'll get the basics down and can move on to more advanced stuff.

Based solely on RPGM2 experience I would say that "Take Over" is the same as 2's "Control Change" which would mean that all you'd have to do is something like enter a room with another person behind a desk. Take over that event and use the movement commands to make it walk around the desk and perform a motion, then say something.

In 2 you can "Return Control to Current Evnet." I do not know about 1.

You use it to "take over an event".

When you are done with one event and want to jump to the next event box, you just add take over at the end of the page.
