This is important. Like Valk over at the Pavilion, I have been asked, as the creator of the Official RPG Maker Magazine, to pick some of the best games of all time made with RPG Maker. However, the listed games must be available on the Mag.

I'm going to send in my response on Thursday, December 7th, 2005 at 10:00pm EST.

Some of the games picked may end up in a big videogame mag, so hurry up with the responses! And please, for the love of Bob, give a good explaination of why you chose said game!

Oh God bless you Ixzion! I shall forgo the shamefull route as Shawn Forbes had at the Pavilion and I will put down my own game,

Hippy Hunt 2

The first RPGM2 game with firearms, pretty much any kind that you can imagine, from an automatic, to a rocket launcher. The visual effects are some of my best that are out right now. And the only RPGM2 game with a sex scene. The game is loaded with tons of pretty visuals.

Plus I dont think that there are many RPGM2 comedies.

But here is my real Favorite RPGM2 game.

The Farm Life by Doyleman

The perfect RPGM2 iteration of the HM series, everything is done just perfectly. From dating girls, to growing crops. Plus I did some of the VFX for the title, and it was great fun working with Doyle and I hope to do so again.

Cursed Desires - A huge puzzle game that contains a dark story of murder, mystery and supernatural events. Bringing the real life pirate, Anne Bonny and putting her as the important charater who you learn more about within the game.

STLF was the first game availiable for the new RPGM3 system. I tried to get it out there (and was successful) before the official launch of RPGM3 so newcomers would have an open-sourced example of various types of things that could be done in RPGM3

I only know RPGM games REALLY well. I've played a crapton of them.

These 4 stood out the most in all my playtime.

Remote Control- Duh, it's freaking remote control. It was the first time I observed precision minigames in an RPGM game. It was pretty amazing when I first played, and it still holds comedic value- I recently played through to show my partner the fun, nontraditional side of making an RPG Maker game.

Dark Illusions. I loved this game. You can actually sense the mood with RPGMs limited devices. Very awesome, and should most definately be recognized as it's mainly underrated.

Fufu the Acid Trip Bunny- A crazy RPGM sidescroller. Innovation and custom graphics at its best.

Crazy Skating- A skating RPGM game? Yeah, don't see many of those.

I only took the time to down load ONE game for RM1 as I am cheap and PS1 memory cards were expensive. (I.e., I tried to find the smallest one) Come to think of it, I don't know whare you can pick those up any more so My ability to play any other RM1 games is kind of shot. Any way the game was called "Legend," and it taught me a VERY important lesson on what NOT to do when making a game. Though any one who can finish a game deserves respect, reguardless, IMHO.
I can't play RM2 games as I don't have an X-port, And I can't seem to hunt one down around here. (honestly, you'd think that they would sell them around here...)

Anway, I have read reviews, and I have to say that i think the most ambitious RM games would have to be Jeremy LaCroix's "Dynasty Project" series.

Where do you live? They should sell them on EB Games. Or, just go to codejunkies.com they sell them too.

Odd....maybe you could order them offline. That is how I plan to get RPGM2 and RPGM. Go to ebgames.com . They sell all I kinds of game things. Just search for Max Drive PS2 or something like that and you should find it.
