No, I'm taking the same path I've been taking. I'm just cutting a little time on the loop by jumping off at the last second with a speed boost bonus. I'm trying to record myself doing it, but it's quite hard to do.

I also beat Pochahontas on the Genesis.XP
And got Addicted to Phantasy Star IV. I recommend Phantasy Star IV to anyone- thoroughly enjoyable.

I don't think Ix would be too keen on losing more members to the Phantasy Star universe.

Oh em gee. It isn't PSO, which is the online game.

PS IV is the series PSO is based on, much like FF compared to FFXI. The games are Genesis RPGs.
