the sky is blue because water naturally relects blue light. thus airbourne water vapour in the upper athmosphere reflects blue light back towards earth, and the sky appears blue. at least, thats how my physics teacher explained it to me.

cucumbers are horrible, pickled or not. perhaps pickling draws out some of the flavour?

in uni theres this guy from Oregon, called Patrick. He told us that when he came over here he had to go through British integration classes.
They showed him the correct way to make tea (???), and told him that the only safe topics on which to talk to a stranger are the weather and pets. I never knew that this sort of institutionalised steriotypical nonsense existed. makes you think, though. Also, apparently the english love queing. Weird.


to answer your question, i look at the stars a lot. I prefer the sky at day, in summer, but its strange to think that those stars have been there for every person in the northern hemisphere since... well, practically forever.
