How many people you know or heard of that have been died from playing a game? I know I know you can die from tiredness and people need sleep, but from playing the game and committing suicide. Thats is very sick and wrong especially to die over a game.

It seems sick and wrong to kill yourself over a game, but for some socially inept people, that's all they have. I don't agree with it, but I guess the death of the most "odd one out" geeky guy in my class has shown me that obsession can be dire. He died of a heart attack at about the age of 19- which is insane, but brought on by the fact that he was unsociable, and constantly got stressed over things such as games and his opinion being accepted that he killed himself inadvertently.

Not getting proper rest, eating, crapping, and bathing over pixels and polygons is the most lame excuse for death. That's just Darwinism at work. :P

Who would just sit and play games until they die? Or off yourself because of it? Those people are in need of help. :\

It kinda depends on the game that's being played, I would think. For example, ShadowMan is a very dark, spooky game that sometimes made me think "what's the meaning of life?" "why am I living?" These types of games are few and far, but they are there.

And some people live on this stuff. I know because I did. I lived for the N64, and anyone who liked the Playstation was bad. I would start to blank out if someone said they didn't like Zelda, OOT.

I'm way over this now, but things can get crazy, and some people are lost in the shuffle.

Man, worst I've ever felt about a game is when I wanted to insert my FFX disk into a microwave to get revenge on that damn sphere grid system. People just need to remember that it's just a game.

LOL! I never felt that way about the grid. It was fun to have everone go down Auron's path after they finished their own. :D

Man, I had a map of the sphere grid and everything-so once everyone was done I just went on and gave everyone black magic, ultima, etc.
But I just kept playing the game, and eventually I got to the point were I'd gotten every character to fill every sphere using warps, friends, and the like. That game, and equally so FFIX, is the closest I've come to obsession of a game. I did achieve obsession I believe at one point though with Zelda. I musta played Link to the Past so much that I eventually wrote in to Bradygames complaining about errors in the strategy guide I'd bought for apparently no reason. Twilight Princess Will Rule.
