A very gaming-heavy week due to both some new releases and picking up some Virtual Console titles to play through while rendering a boatload of videos.

Expected new releases for this week are Atelier Ryza and Spirit of the North. Currently on the fence about Luigi's Mansion 3 and a couple of other games fitting for Halloween, but I'll decide on those on Wednesday.

Almost broke even this week but have been focusing on getting some races edited and didn't have the whole time for games.

Been ramping up progress on Muv-Luv Alternative- despite not having a commute to play it on much at all last week- while also getting started on the PS3 version of Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star for my 200th PSN Platinum.

Finished Wind Waker. I had a lot more fun with the HD version than the original. The whole Tingle thing was watered down, and I appreciate that.

Now I'm playing Yooka-Laylee for the first time. So far, it has issues, but I only just finished exploring the second world. Maybe it'll get better. At the very least, I hope it's on par with Banjo-Tooie.

Another week of slightly negative progress, but I'm still making progress towards my end-of-year goals.

I've started playing Dying Light, which is a fun zombie parkour game. It's almost like Mirror's Edge and Left 4 Dead almost.

Played a lot of Atelier Ryza over the week, especially the weekend, and hope to finish it in the next few days, then will either play something short like Dusk Diver or get started on the post-project content for Ar tonelico II (requires replaying at least half the game). Not sure what to focus on next for on-the-go due to not having much of a commute this week.

A few digital titles are on the horizon for this week as I'm looking forward to Pic-a-Pix Classic 2 on PSN and One-Way Ticket on Switch, maybe also getting Gris of PSN as I've been on the fence for a while, but I'll wait to get paid before deciding.

So I finished Yooka-Laylee. I think the game is better than Banjo-Tooie, but not as good as Banjo-Kazooie. My biggest isue with -Tooie is that I'd get lost a lot in it, whereas that didn't happen near as much in Yooka. But the levels are more fun in -Kazooie.

Not sure what game I'll play next.

For at home I'm working to finish up Steins;Gate: My Darling's Embrace and will either jump to Samurai Shodown or Star Ocean: First Departure R after that. For on-the-go I'm playing through Fishing Star World Tour and am in World 3 of 8 for the main game. Planning to clear its story then go back and catch every type of fish.

Mostly positive progress this week as I opted to wait until getting paid tomorrow before buying more new titles, however with one exception as I'd planned to get it for on-the-go, but quickly realized something that I'll explain in a bit.

After finishing Samurai Shodown I noticed I need exactly 27 trophies to reach 10,000 on PSNProfiles and decided that it would be pretty cool if #10,000 was also a Platinum. I found two games where there are 27 total or I've started that have 27 left: Final Fantasy X-2 or 428: Shibuya Scramble. I'll be focusing on the latter. And since that shelves my Vita progress for a bit, I'll likely be starting on Justice Chronicles for 3DS.

Looking at a lot of releases this week: the Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack, Maitetsu: Pure Station, Seek Hearts, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions#FE Encore along with a couple of maybes in DBZ: Kakarot and Red Bow.
