A quiet week this week that ended up breaking even as I was pretty busy.

Looking at Touhou Genso Wanderer as the only expected new release for this week. Didn't see anything else worthwhile for PSN but the eShop may have a surprise or two. We'll see.

Rather than getting into one of this week's new games, I felt more compelled to start the PS4 port of Wild Arms 3 at home and am making slow progress on the book I'm reading for on-the-go, but that should pick up again tomorrow once my schedule normalizes a bit.

Wait, what? There's a version of Wild Arms 3 on PS4? Is it like how Alter Code F was to the original Wild Arms 1? Or just a direct port?

Because if it is any kind of reboot or remake, I wanna play!

It's a direct port of the PS2 version with trophy support. A pretty reasonable Platinum too as it doesn't involve getting all the EX File Keys (but you do have to beat Ragu).

Another quiet week as I mostly focused on one thing at a time.

Been mostly focused on Wild Arms 3. Currently at Chapter 3 and have most everything I need for the rest of the game and the superbosses. Finished up the money grind and just need to do the exp. grind. After that, the rest of the game will be a breeze.

Only about halfway through the book I'm still reading, so on-the-go isn't seen much game time still.

Looking forward to Mega Man X Collection 1+2 this week. Otherwise there isn't much else.

So riddle me this Gunarmdyne....how do you have all this money and time to play all these games? I have a full time job and volunteer quite a bit, so I have little money or time to throw around like you do.

I admit it, I'm jealous.

I'm single, have a good-paying job, don't have a lot of rent, and am a massive introvert- so I don't socialize much. In a lot of cases, I budget for new releases well in advance, too. It's the impulse items on weekly PSN/eShop updates that can cut into it though.

Bit of a slow week but still made positive progress overall.

I'm taking a slight break from starting a new console game to get caught up on some unwatched DVDs and focus on finishing the game I'm streaming: Return of Touhou Mother, so there may not be a lot of progress this week. Still reading for on-the-go but I may finish that book this week.

The main release I'm expecting is Code of Princess EX on Switch, but the preview for this week's PSN releases has a bunch worth looking in to so I may also get Touhou Sky Arena: Matsuri Climax and possibly Journey to Balhalla. We'll see.

The two Muv-Luv titles were Kickstarter rewards for backing that project a long time ago, Picross S2 and WarioWare Gold caught me off-guard due to not knowing their release dates, and Little Adventure on the Prairie was a dumb quickie that I had enough leftover funds for.

Not expecting any major releases until the 28th or so and currently only seeing 1 potential on PSN for this week, but I'm planning on diving into Shining Resonance Refrain and Demon Gaze II later this week after taking a certification exam for work I've been studying for.

Definitely a light week this week as I spent the first half on finishing preparing for and taking that certification exam. Thankfully I passed, so it is off my mind. Game plans also changed up a bit due to wanting to fit in something short.

I did start up Shining Resonance Refrain over the weekend and Demon Gaze II this morning, so they'll be my focus for the next little while. There are no expected releases again this week, so it should be another light one.

Another light week as I've been focused on Shining Resonance Refrain and Demon Gaze II and, while I have made good progress on both, I'm not really close to beating either.

That's also okay as I didn't buy anything new last week and I'm not seeing any upcoming releases for this week that catch my eye, but of course that could change.

Next week will see the resuming of picking up pre-ordered titles though.

So both of the pre-ordered titles I had planned for this week got pushed back, but there are a couple of PSN titles releasing on Tuesday that I plan to get. Aside from that, there's also actual progress this past week.

Currently in the 2nd half of Demon Gaze II so I'll be working on completing that this week. I'll also finally get the Platinum Trophy for Rayman Legends after 3 months of grinding Daily/Weekly challenges.

Good week this week as I jumped into a couple of shorter titles while awaiting Dragon Quest XI, though I found out my copy won't arrive until Saturday.

Another good week overall as I managed to eke out positive progress despite the expected new arrivals.

But, since I'm no longer on vacation, progress will slow down a bit as I also look for another on-the-go title to focus on. This week's expected releases are Mega Man 11 and Super Mario Party.

This week brings one step back on progress due to mostly focusing up on Persona 5, but there are a few quick titles to focus on before starting another big project.

I need to do a NG+ run of Persona 5 to 100% it but am taking a quick break to tackle some shorter titles in the interim to allow for P5 to be my 2,200th :C: entry on backloggery. The Switch is getting a bit of love in that respect as I'm working on Kemono Friends Picross both on-the-go and at home until I finish it and will likely focus on another Switch title after that.

So far, the only new release this week I'm expecting is The World Ends With You: Final Remix on Friday, but something may pop up as has happened before.

Good progress this week as I was able to get slightly caught up on movies/DVDs while playing through some games that didn't require a lot of focus at the same time.

New releases for this week include Warriors Orochi 4 and Resonance of Fate HD on PS4, plus a couple of "maybes" I saw upcoming on PSN, but they'll probably go into the wishlist for now. Currently undecided on Soul Calibur VI as I haven't really enjoyed the series since II and III, but something could change my mind.

Broke even this week in terms of progress vs. new games as I picked up a couple that aren't counting against the backlog.

Even though I got the Platinum trophy for Persona 5 early in the week, I decided to finish the entire NG+ run just to see one character's Christmas and Valentine's Day events, and it was worth it.

Currently focusing on Warriors Orochi 4 and aiming to S Rank each battle and complete all the Battle Objectives per level on the first go, but it shouldn't take long to beat the main story. For on-the-go, I'm reading again but should be done with the current book this week.

The only expected new release for this week is the Castlevania Rondo of Blood/Symphony of the Night collection on PSN and haven't seen anything else as of yet.
