I'm making a puzzle game in RPG Maker MV, and I'm going to post various videos of the things I'm making in this thread.
The game is very much early in development, but I'm having fun.
Don't know how often this thread will be updated, but when I feel like sharing something, I'll post a video here.

This is a problem. I should find a solution.
So I'm going to ask for help in the pc rm community, maybe somebody can write a plugin that would help.

Pro tip: Always make backups of your Rpg Maker projects!
I learned that the hard way.
And i knew I have to do this too... I just kind of forgot about doing that until my project got corrupted...
Thankfully, my maps and events were saved, so I was able to recover most of my data and re-create the rest.
But now I know - always make backups. From now on I'll remember to always do that.

And now it might be to complicated for Level 1.
Well, we'll see how the level development goes. I might cut down on the room ammount in a few places, but I'll probably keep the layout.

Have you been watching videos from Mark Brown? Because those layouts loom awfully similar. There's no better inspiration than him to get started making a game like this.

I've seen a few of his videos on Mario, but not about Zelda dungeons.

It's an "animation" for the beginnig of a timed sequence. I would use it in timed puzzles, and sections that have a time limit.
This will give the player a few seconds to see what's going on, and prepare.

Been a while since I've updated, hasn't it?
Well, progress have been slow, but I am still working on the game.
Level 1 is now half complete, and I'm considering releasing a demo of that when it's finished. Or maybe I won't.
