Congrats! I'm not a Pokemon fan but can easily understand how that takes a lot of dedication.

Thanks! TO be fair, this one was not so bad, since it was only 300 pokemon.(Only the ones that can be actually found in the region count toward the pokedex)
I mean, it's still double the amount of the original, but I it's easier to trade online than using a link cable with my brother in the Game Boy days

Well I definitely spoke too soon last week as this week ended up with several surprises. Though the first three were ones I ordered a while ago, shipping got delayed, and they all arrived at the same time on Monday.

New Arrivals:
The Guided Fate Paradox (PS3)
The Awakened Fate: Ultimatum (PS3)
Steins;Gate 0 (PS4)
Flying Bunny (PS4)
Picross e7 (3DSDL)
Super Mario Run (iOS)

The positive progress came from beating Super Mario Run's main game as well as finishing up 100%ing the base game of Hyrule Warriors Legends, so that felt really good to reach.

Given Christmas-related things to do this week I don't know how much time I'll have for gaming at home, but I'm still focusing on Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero for on-the-go.

Excellent progress this week as the only new game I picked up was Wild Guns Reloaded on PS4, which is a merciless but fun game.

Aside from that I beat and 100%'d Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, 100% Picross e7, then started, beat, and 100%'d Gravity Rush Remastered.

No new games to report for Christmas yet as we aren't opening gifts until Friday when my brother and his family will be here.

More good progress this week as I finished up Super Mario Run and 100%'d the first two DLC Adventure Maps in Hyrule Warriors Legends.

The only new game I got for Christmas directly was Samurai Warriors 4 Empires, but with Nintendo eShop and Amazon gift cards I picked up some Virtual Console titles (Castlevania: Dracula X, Metroid: Zero Mission, Earthbound, and Kirby Super Star) on the former that are all backup copies and some PS3 games I'd been on the fence about for a good while on the latter. I'll report on those when they arrive.

I'm pretty determined to finish up the last two DLC maps on Hyrule Warriors Legends so the bulk of my focus is going towards them and I will consider the entire game fully Complete after those are done.

Started Lightning Returns and Fallout 4 yesterday. Lightning Returns is a pretty interesting game, and the combat is pretty nice. Much better than FF13's original system, imo. I'm not too far into it, so I don't have any major opinions of it. The complaints about her boobs when they were first talked about were unjustified (I'll admit I was in that crowd). I'm looking forward to playing some more.

Fallout 4 so far is cool. It's pretty much modern Skyrim. Kinda stuck at the moment, though, since I just ran out of ammo. :(

Positive progress this past week as I finished up Hyrule Warriors Legends by beating and 100%ing the last two DLC maps. Also went back to Super Mario Run for a while to work on unlocking the last store items and will likely put that away for good after I hit 9999 Toads.

New arrivals were Resonance of Fate and Drakengard 3 on PS3. I tried the former once but didn't get into it, though the characters appearing in the Project X Zone games nudged me back towards it. Haven't tried out the latter yet and am hoping to do so tonight.

Just looking at upcoming releases on PSN may make this week a release-heavy one, especially with the release of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone, but there are a couple more on PSN also coming out that look work looking in to. Whether or not I get them tomorrow or wait until I get paid will depend on how much the total price will be.

I'm taking a break from on-the-go gaming to finish a book I started a while back, then may take the time to finish up going for the Platinum trophy on games like hToL#NiQ and Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3.

Full week this week as I finished up Super Mario Run, then the new releases/arrivals hit:

* Hyper Void (PS4) - Not so much a new release but one on PSN that I missed and looked like a fun shooter. Definitely unique.
* Xenoraid (Vita) - Another shooter that's slower-paced but still pretty fun.
* Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone - Nearly every previous Miku game rolled up into one. Took the time to clear all 224 songs on Hard over the course of the week.
* Alpha Mission II (PS4) - Port of a Neo Geo arcade shooter. It's not bad, but there are other games of the same type from that era that are much better.
* Asdivine Hearts (PS4) - Another Kemco RPG that actually got an earlier WiiU release but I didn't notice until after I'd bought this version. The main character outright tells a god that he'll skin her alive if she doesn't watch her mouth.
* The Simpsons Game (PS3) - Had been on the fence over this for a while. Got good first impressions and may beat this one next since the main game may not be too long.
* Shift DX (3DS) - Very fun and addictive puzzle game I bought on a whim. Already in the 200s out of who knows how many rooms there are.
* NIER (PS3) - One last PS3 game I was on the fence about, but the demo for the sequel helped me decide to go back and get this. First impressions did not disappoint.

This week will be another big one too as Fate/Extella will arrive today while Dragon Quest VIII, Gravity Rush 2, and Atelier Shallie Plus should arrive by the end of the week. Thankfully it looks like February and March will be much lighter on releases.

Despite another release-heavy week I still feel like I'm making headway against the tide.

New Releases:
* Atelier Shallie Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea (Vita) - One I'll get to if I ever finish the game that comes before it in its respective trilogy.
* Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star (PS4) - Basically a Fate/Extra Warriors title, only not done by KT.
* Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King (3DS) - Like VII, I know the moment I start this I won't stop until the game's 100%'d
* Gravity Rush 2 (PS4) - Takes its time more so than the first game to somewhat ease you into the adventure.
* Dark Cloud 2 (PS4) - Was on sale for $5. A very underrated PS2 game.

The only game I beat this past week was Shift DX and can easily recommend it for 3DS owners. My current focuses are Fate/Extella at home as I finished 2 of the 4 campaigns in the main Story with a few Side Stories also beaten. On-the-go focus is the Vita version of Asdivine Hearts where I just beat the first dungeon after getting the 4th party member.

New releases for this week will be Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and Tales of Berseria. After those, there's a lull of releases through March where I only plan to get 1-2 games per month (unless something interesting pops up on PSN or the eShop of course).

A week where what I said last week happened: Only got Tales of Berseria and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 while beating the Story Mode on Fate/Extella with its True End and have been working on the character Side Stories.

Also making progress in Asdivine Hearts and focusing on side quests for the moment.

Looking at at least Double Dragon IV and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World this week, with the Dynasty Warriors SRPG and a puzzle game named Adventure Pop on PSN being "maybe" titles right now.

I'm actively playing Ace Attorney 6.

I'm on Case 3, Day 2 Investigation and it's getting interesting now. Looking forward to playing it some more.

A bit of a slog this week, but still made some progress.

* Bought and beat Double Dragon IV. It retains that old-school feel and, while the AI can be cheap at times, the game is still quite beatable.
* Downloaded Adventure Pop as it's F2P, then dropped it at Level 44 because that's where it pretty much turned into a "Required to Pay" just to win title.
* Bought and downloaded Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers and got a nice first impression from it.
* Downloaded Fire Emblem Heroes and have made good progress on it without spending a single cent. It helps that my very first hero draw was a 5-star Lucina.
* Picked up Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World, but have it Null'd on Backloggery since I 100%'d the Wii version.

Still working on Fate/Extella and Asdivine Hearts. Have finished all of the Side Stories while working on the Platinum for the former and would say I'm on the final dungeon for the second major arc within the latter.

Finished the main storyline for the Witcher 3. The game is very good, and the plot is entertaining. I love the character conversations and Geralt's monotone speech. Had over 50 hours of fun, and will continue later on.

Started Tales of Berseria on Friday, and I'm loving it. A much better game than Zestiria, and the characters aren't bland, boring, basic b*tches. The combat system is more free (no more holding a button to free run) and feels better than previous games that use the martial artes system (Graces/Zestiria). I'm only about 16 hours in, so there's still more to go, but it's been much more intriguing than the past few games I've played. Velvet is a cool character also.

Positive progress this past week as I beat Asdivine Hearts with all 5 of the Normal Endings and am on the post game/True Ending path. Also finished up Fate/Extella with its Platinum trophy for 100% completion.
Only new title purchased was the 2nd in the Parascientific Escape series on 3DS.

Not seeing anything new for this week that I'll be getting as of right now. Originally I was going to start Steins;Gate 0 but changed my mind and began The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword instead. Got far enough last night to leave Skyloft and head to the surface for the first time.

Beat Tales of Berseria today (around 60 hours of total play time). It is finally the Tales game to surpass Tales of Vesperia (which was he best in my opinion). The story of Berseria is fantastic, and I enjoyed all the protagonists in the game even more so than the cast of Vesperia (though Yuri is still number one). The combat the game is the best in the series and the most fun. It was a pleasure to play and it now sits in my top 5. I will play it again sometime, but now I will move on to Tales of Zestiria to try and beat it this time. Then I need to get back to Lightning Returns.

Mostly even progress this week as I bought and beat both Rhythm Heaven Megamix and Double Dragon Neon. Also bought Starry Night: Helix but am stuck on the Level 6 boss on Soa's route.

Had a bit of time for progress in Skyward Sword and managed to beat the Skyview Temple with more progress to come hopefully this week.

Speaking of this week, it's looking to be a good one on PSN as the sequel to Chime and Ys Origin are being released this week, as well as one title that looks worth looking into, Malicious Fallen. May well end up getting all three of those.

Well this week happened exactly as planned: New games purchased were Chime Sharp- which is still quite fun but best in short bursts, Malicious Fallen- a good one if you enjoy Monster Hunter-style games with giant bosses plus some customization, and Ys Origin- still as fun as ever.

I felt like playing through something short on-the-go and did so with the 3DS port of Sonic Generations. Started Dragon Quest VIII on 3DS after that and have already nearly put 24 hours into it, so I didn't make any progress at all in Skyward Sword this week.

Aside from the Switch this week, I'm looking at Ghost Blade HD for PS4 on Tuesday.

Based on the information when I pre-ordered my Switch, it wasn't expected to arrive until today, but it arrived Friday. Only problem with that is I was sick all weekend and didn't get to do much on it.

Breakdown:
* Bought and beat Ghost Blade HD on PS4. Quite fun if you're a bullet hell/STG fan. Can be very challenging but you have more than enough lives to beat the game if you use bombs wisely to stay alive.
* Downloaded A King's Tale: Final Fantasy XV as part of that game's DLC package. I haven't touched it yet though.
* Got The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with the Switch and got some very nice initial impressions while exploring the Great Plateau.
* Also bought Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove on Switch and will dive into the Specter Knight campaign ASAP.
* Still making good progress on Dragon Quest VIII: Got all 6 party members and finished the Level 99 grind, so it's basically a straight shot to end-game at this point barring a couple more side quests that open up on the way.

Several expected new arrivals this week as I have Bomberman R, Atelier Firis, and NieR: Automata on order along with plans to get Blaster Master Zero later this week. Hoping to finish up the main game of Dragon Quest VIII and resume Skyward Sword this week too.

So, surprise surprise, I'm lost in Zelda: Breath of the Wild!

Still got Ace Attorney 6 to finish, as well.

Been a really good week courtesy of a bombshell eShop update. Here's the breakdown of new titles:

* Super Bomberman R (Switch) - Single-player's good in short bursts. Multiplayer rocks.
* NieR: Automata (PS4) - Enjoyed the demo and how often will someone who worked on the character design outright admit that he made the heroine sexy because he likes girls?
* Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey (PS4) - Only Gust can make a cave-based town look colorful and vibrant.
* Blaster Master Zero (Switch) - A true and excellent remake of the original.
* Bomberman 64 (WiiU VC) - Still one of the best multiplayer experiences on N64.
* VOEZ (Switch) - Impulse buy. Despite being touchscreen only it's quite a nice rhythm game with plenty of content.
* The King of Fighters '98 (Switch) - Still the best arcade KOF, IMO.
* Waku Waku 7 (Switch) - Another great fighting game from the Neo Geo era.
* Metal Slug 3 (Switch) - Want an even harder Contra-style game? Here you go!

Not to be outdone, I actually made positive progress against all of those:
* Beat and 100%'d Dragon Quest VIII with all 4 endings, all bonus bosses beaten and all sidequests cleared.
* Beat and 100%'d Blaster Master Zero with its True Ending.
* Beat and 100%'d Waku Waku 7 by beating it with every character.
* Beat KOF '98 with my favorite team. Will count it 100%'d on beating it with everyone included in a team at least once.
* Beat Metal Slug 3 (barely managed to 1CC it as I was on my last life out of 100)! Will count that 100%'d by taking every alternate route.
* Had to wait around for a bit on Saturday so I beat Mega Man on the 3DS Mega Man Legacy Collection.
* Was going to return to Skyward Sword but felt more like playing Ys Origin, so I'm at the final area with the first character.
