That's the only reason why the Rick Roll isn't as prevalent as it once was.

Nothings better than literally half of every youtube video I watch has just as much content as thanking patreon supporters, asking for likes/comments/subscriptions, and then some kind of sponsor wither it be Crunchy Roll, Loot Crate, and Audible.

I swear, I'm never using any of those services, I'm so sick of hearing about them.

Doing it at the start of every video is definitely overkill. I can understand taking time at the start or end of a full project.

I liken it to the many, MANY company titles that pop up when you first boot up a PS4 game. Having them in every video is the equivalent of reloading those titles whenever you bring the game out of Suspend mode.
