Last night I was informed about the new Kingdom Hearts title. This title is being squished between Kingdom Hearts 2.5 and the unreleased Kingdom Hearts 3. So clearly the name for this game should be:

"Kingdom Hearts HD II.8: Final Chapter Prologue"

I'd first like to draw your attention to the use of roman numerals for two but not for the eight. Not to mention I've never read a book in my life that has a prologue before the final chapter. An epilogue after the final chapter, sure. So naturally this title raises a lot of confusion from me. But what's worse is the games within this collection. You get "Kingdom Hearts HD Dream Drop Distance" as well as "Kingdom Hearts HD χ: Back Cover." By the way, that χ is the Greek letter 'chi' not the letter X. This game was a mobile game... but is now being pushed into the mainline series.

But most aneurysm inducing is the title the came up for the PSP game, Birth By Sleep... which now goes by the name "Kingdom Hearts HD 0.2: Birth By Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage."

Fans of the series... I demand an explanation.

They put their Hearts into this. Leave them alone!

I am so looking forward to Kingdom Hearts 2.65, which takes place between 2.5 and 2.8.
But I'm sure KH 2.745 will be even better, or at least as good as KH 2.95

The naming of games in this franchise is really getting ridiculous.
