E3 2015: Mother (Earthbound Beginnings) to be released on VC

Why the cheers and excitement? Mother has only previous been officially sold in Japan on Nintendo’s Family Computer and Game Boy Advance, with no release in the West (besides ROMS and emulators).

The game will be released exclusively on Wii U, starting tonight at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET / 2 AM BT.

I hear that the gameboy advance version was rebalanced. I assume that is the version we'll be getting. So maybe it'll just be hard as thumbtacks.

I already bought it, but I'll probably play it on an emulator. That game is hard as sh*t. Haha.

If you mean for the save states, Wii U VC has one.

A turbo button would be necessary too. The hours of grinding required to progress in Mother is mind numbingly long... assuming it's the original NES version. I don't think anyone here's actually confirmed that or not.
