I've done only 3 Ranked matches, and I think the winner will always get the full bar. (Or at least if time doesn't run out, which means your team depleted your timer?)
We completely blew the enemy team on the second match, and third one was extremely close.
I like Ranked battles. I wonder if I get lose Ranks... (Like, if I get to B-, could it go down to C+?) I'm still Ranke C- though.

In rank C- you get 20 points for a win, and you lose 10 for a loss. In rank C, you get 15 per win and still lose 10 per loss. It takes 100 to rank up from C- to C, and it looks like it stays that way all the way to A+. I'm sure that each rank you go up though, you'll get fewer and fewer points per win. As far as ranking down goes, I'm not sure. I haven't lost enough to rank back down to C-, but I would assume that yes, if you play on a C- level, you go back to C-.

Also, ranked is by far the fastest way to grind experience. You get a minimum of like 1800 per win. In C, I'm getting 2100. The best you can do in Turf Wars is around 1300.

I'm assuming then, that the 1800 goes to my experience, and the 500p would be my earned money/experience for gear?

In that case I am truly confused, because I am almost sure all I get is 500p of experience (even though I see the 1800 bonus in the previous screen)

C- gets you 1300 bonus exp. C gets you 1600 bonus exp... unless I'm just not paying attention.

Also super excited for Splatfest. As a reminder, ours is June 20th/21st, and the vote is between Cats or Dogs. Once you choose a team, you cannot be matched against someone on your same team. I AM GOING TEAM DOG!

It seems Splatfests have their own ranking system from 0/25. Once you get to a certain title, you get Super Sea Snails regardless of if Cats or Dogs win. The entire team that wins does get one additional Super Sea Snail.

So yesterday I was playing Ranked battles. Not sure if I like them or not. For one thing, the fact you usually get nothing if you're on the losing team gives the loss an extra sting. Also, I just suck at it. Maybe. Towards the end, I think I was coming up with a strategy that helped me feel useful even if we lost. But those were level-specific strategies, so I'm gonna have to figure something out for the other stages.

I'm not a fan of Ranked, but you do need to experiment with different guns for it. I use stronger guns to play ranked because Aerospray RG is not good for it.

Yeah, I know I should consider changing guns. Maybe the roller, since I wouldn't have to worry about aiming.

I haven't played Ranked too much, but I didn't do too well with the aerospray. I don't tend to dodge ink very well, and dying in the Splat Zone is a big no no

I use the Zapper gun or one of the bigger rifles for Ranked. Gets me more range and power so I don't have to engage in the Splat Zone.

Dray, my best tip for ranked is that inking the zone is part of it, but splatting the other team and being a bit stealthy is most important. The Splattershot Jr. is extremely good right now in ranked. Most people use that or the .92 Gal or the chargers for it.

Also, the worst part about ranked for me right now is not being able to control who is on team. You get a lot of people who play it like Turf Wars.

The last time I played Ranked, I was fighting a 1 v 4 battle while my teammates were off playing Turf War by themselves and leaving me to die constantly.

The last match I played (That earned me the coveted C Rank) I did use a longer range weapon. I just don't remember which one ;_;
