Is anyone testing it out? I've gotta say what I've seen so far (And it's only the beginning) it's a pretty solid looking OS. It's how Windows 8 should have been handled in my opinion.

From Redit:

"It’s named Windows 10 because 7 ate 9”

They're saying the names are arbitrary, so they went with 10. Windows 9 would make more sense honestly, but currently with the features I must say I really like the way it's going so far. I absolutely love that the start screen is back, and finding files is so much more simpler as it checks your PC and the web for anything you're searching for.

I'm not that interested in Windows 10. I know it sounds petty, but I hate the layout. It looks gross as f*ck, imo. Trying to combine a Windows 7 and Window 8 look makes it look cheesy as balls. Also, I would not be inclined to get Windows 10 unless it was free. I don't care if I'd have to pay for Office services (as long as it's not a subscription). Mac OSX will be free two years in a row with the new release this month. All phone OSes are free. If Windows 10 still costs at least $99 (OEM), then I will not want it, nor will other people. After their Windows 8 failure, they should be giving Windows 10 for free.

I like Windows 7 enough, and I expect 10 to be better. If it falls flat, Microsoft will have set itself back even more. Also, as many security flaws as Windows tends to have, especially at launch, I wouldn't want to pick it up until at least the first service pack. I haven't really seen much about it, but I'm sure it's going to do some cloud stuff that Google and Apple have and have been implementing.

As long as it's not absolute crap like 8. I don't know what they were thinking. I actually keep seeing it in Arrow(a show I'm watching lovingly sponsored by Microsoft) and it is SO GROSS.

I'll use 10 though, once it's pretty much old hat. I think I like 7 too much for the moment, and I couldn't be assed to even download 10 illegally.
