While you would think that is a broken combo, it really isn't. In MTG, there are a multitude of instant win conditions. But the thing is, they cost. They cost a lot. If not in cost, in number of cards required for the combo.

For example, this was a 7 card combo. Which is honestly not that greaet. There's a three card combo that nets you a creature with infinity power and infinity toughness. Add one more card to that combo and you can deal infinity direct damage. It's not turn one, but it's effective none the less.



For that 7 card, one turn win combo, the very first card happens to be 3000 dollars. With a deck that can be no less than 60 cards, you'd HAVE to have the maximum 4 in the deck for the 33% chance to draw it on your opening hand which has to happen for a turn 1 win. Not to mention the other six cards have a 33% chance of turning up making the 'perfect hand' near impossible to have for your first turn. So if you spent the kind of cash to build a deck around those seven cards and you happen to actually draw them on your first turn, you completely deserve to win turn one. It's a hell of an interesting combo though.
