Sorry for the week-long wait. Josh's Adventure: Director's Cut is now uploaded to both sites, complete, and ready for download.

I'd like to extend an extra special thanks to Brandon, and Meteor Inc for this release. He went above and beyond for this version, rigorously playtesting the game for extra bug sweeping. Thanks buddy!

With the switch to v6, the game was only available in it's really old demo forum. Today I fixed that, so you can now play the demo and full Director's Cut of Josh's Adventure.

It's been nearly a year since JA DC was released. Goodness, it feels like it was so long ago…

Anyway, I'm just curious…..Did anyone happen to find the hidden minigame I snuck in?

"What?" I hear you say. Yeah. There's a minigame in there, and I wanted to see if anyone has found it yet. And if not, well, now that you know about it, you can start hunting for it.

I'll give you two hints; one, you won't find the minigame in the original version, just in the Director's Cut. Two, I recommend you read through the supplemental .txt files I sent with the game. But that's all I'm going to say, now you fine folks need to figure it out…unless nobody finds it, then I'll tell you. I'm just nice that way.

I'll be trying to find it whether you say anything about it or not.

I just need to find the time to search for it now.

Good to see you still kicking about. I have not looked for the extra secret, but I'm generally swamped and now I'm trying to find some employment.

But I will mention that the game was definitely pleasant. You should be proud of your work.

Thanks Ix, I'm still here in a lurking sort of way. I had intended to not say anything about the hidden game secret at all, but I figured since the DC is almost a year old, I could at least tell people it exists. I still want people to work to find it.

If you do find it MRevelle, lemme know what you think of it. And don't tell anyone how to get it unless they have more Points than you do.

I haven't heard anything since my last post, so I'm going to assume nobody found it, and am giving out another hint. This is the last one, so listen up. You can find out about the hidden minigame in the Director's Commentary .txt.

The good news is I've narrowed down your search. The bad news is you still have to look for it, and it's a pretty sizable document. Good luck, and do let me know if you happen to find it.

In order to find the hidden mini-game, you first have to unlock Challenge #4. Go to the right as far as you can, and press X three times. You will then unlock Josh's Pursuit, the hidden mini-game that's been hidden for the last two or so years. Have fun.

During Dray's Let's Play of this game, he ran into two game-breaking bugs. One didn't allow you to switch to the bonus card when playing in Game mode, and one would start an infinite loop in Josh's room.

So I've released a 2016 update that addresses both of these problems. Keep in mind that these fixes are just for the PS/EPSXE version, as I don't have access to a PS3 any more. If you can help with that, I would be grateful. I've posted a way to avoid them for PS3 users on the download page, and here's a copy of that information:

The two bugs are fixable/avoidable. Here's how.
-Go into the game's file and change the memory card switch event in SCN2 to the same name as the bonus card's name. You can also avoid this by playing in test play mode.
-To avoid an infinite loop in Josh's room, you must go from Josh's room to the hubworld to activate a switch that allows the game to run normally. If you pass the DK levels and then watch the ending tape, the glitch will occur.

A few years later, and I'd still like to have this 2016 big fix available for PS3 owners. If you have a PS3 and could send me the converted data of the five memory cards for JA 2016 , I would appreciate it.
