That's too bad. I get even more extra time tonight. We're in the middle of a big snow, and we're out of certain supplies at work, supplies that we can't get because of the snow, so I don't have to go in as early tonight.

Guys, it's time to think about when to do the next official race.

I'll be back in town on the 27th, so I'll be ready on the 28-29 if we want to do it then.

I'm also completely free on New Years all day long.

If those fail, we can do Jan. 4-5. But the point is, official race soon.

We also talked about getting some more frequent races going. Like, mostly do the races where we just pick a game at random and do it. Those will probably be raced during the week.

The 'official' races that are picked by the winner of the previous race will be handled on the weekend. The reason being because the weekend is the only time we'll most likely all be around. During the week, most people are around after 6, and others are gone at 7... not leaving enough time to do much. This causes a problem with creating enough content to have something ready every friday.

Also as a heads up, along with Kajak, SK will more than likely be joining us. He's finally moved to a place and got the hardware where his audio doesn't sound like he's in a wind tunnel. And speaking of Kajak, the game he has picked to race is Aladdin on the Sega Genesis. We'll go with one of the day's that Ix has picked out. It's probably unlikely though since it's mostly holiday days, so if all else fails, we will race on the 4th.

From New Years to Sunday, I should be off work and available.

Sunday would be best for me. I have to work and SK is coming down again.

Guys, we have two races that need to be done this weekend: one official, one unofficial and they need to be done in that order.

The game I'm gonna pick is going to be probably just a 1-2 video game. Leaving Gunman Clive for Steam being the unofficial one. Insultobot wants in on that, since he's the sponsor of it and he's off the next 7 days.

Can we do it this weekend? Saturday or Sunday. I'm good ALL DAY.

I'm free all weekend long... Friday to Sunday. I'm also good in the weekday evenings.

I also talked Kajak into getting Gunman Clive, so he should be able to join in.

Celebrating my sister's 21st birthday at some point this weekend. But knowing what the official game might be, I want in.

Ix has picked SNES Aladdin. Thought it would be cool to have both Aladdin's side by side as official races for comparison.

Okay, so we were discussing the possibility of doing a co-op race of Kirby Superstar. The main concern was that it required that we all were able to stay connected through the entire race. Well, I have another concern. If we're only able to get two teams, we might wind up with a rather uninteresting race. The longer the race goes, the furthur the two teams might spread apart, and if the first team is in Milky Way Wishes while the second team has only just reached Metaknight's Revenge, then it's gonna be way too obvious who's gonna win the race. So I suggest that if we do Kirby Superstar, we race individuals so that even if first place has a commanding lead, we'll still have more positions being fought for.

I really like the idea of co-op races, but those are probably best left for shorter games.

We did a co-op race with one of the 'Splosion games during MagConWest. It went fairly well, but that may have been because it was so close at so many points in the game.

Also, we only did the first world, not the whole game.

Actually, that brings up another possibility. Instead of doing Superstar as a whole, maybe we could do each "game" as its own race, kinda like the cups in our Mario Kart Wii race. Let's Race Spring Breeze, Let's Race Dyna Blade, and so forth. Not only would that help fix the issue of us spreading too far apart, but it would also make it much less of a disaster if there's a connection fail at some point.

Hmm, it very well could be a series of mini-races. That would actually be a nice special series, perhaps. That would be fun, I think.

I'm perfectly okay with this.

This weekend might be a good time to get Super Star going. Dray said he's looking to race soon, so I thought I'd post and see if we could work something out. If not, we're still good on videos till the end of February.

Tis fine, I may not be available until 6 CST on both days of the weekend. But that isn't late at all.

I can do it whenever.

As can I. Nothing going on with my grandparents, so at suppertime I can get over there, eat, come back.

Seeing as we haven't raced in a while and MagCon is next week, we should probably try to race sometime this week.

Otherwise, we won't really be able to for about two more weeks, where it'd be better to keep our reserves up.

I can obviously go any day this week.
