It has been a very long time since I have been on this site, so I wanted to upload some games.

Here is what is available now:

Quote:
"Swords & Sorcerers: Chapter One"

It was the first game in the Defenders Of Light series, and I am currently reworking it to be re-released under a different name.

This was my first attempt at a real game, and I think it turned out fairly well. There's some issues with it, which is why I wanted to update it. Otherwise, this game should take a few hours to complete.

Quote:
"Final Evil Warrior"

Comedy and garbage! It's a play on other games and is meant to be intentionally horrible. It plays okay, though, and has some moments that still make me snicker. It is also very short.

Both of these games are in DexDrive (GME) format (zipped).

*** COMING SOON ***

* Final Evil Warrior - Unlocked - PS3 file format
* Mini Game RPG - Updated, improved and unlocked! - DexDrive and PS3 file format
* Remastered version of "Swords & Sorcerers: Chapter One" (Actual Title Pending) - Updated, improved and unlocked! - DexDrive and PS3 file format

*** EDIT ***

-> Defenders Of Light: Complete (RPG Maker 1) - DexDrive & PS3 format will be uploaded soon
This is the 10th Anniversary Edition and should be the last update it should ever need.

For those who don't know, it's an updated version of the one available on this site.

Glad to see you around, man.

Just fyi, the file upload system isn't as good as it could be, so if you encounter any problems with getting text to work or something like that, just PM it to me and I'll insert it manually.

So you're the guy who made Defenders of Light. You know, that was the first CBS RPG Maker 1 game I had ever played and I thought it was amazing that you could make RM1 do that sort of thing.

Since then, I was even developing my own CBS It's a really old build and I've improved on it greatly. But yeah, I'm glad you are back, man.

Looks like I some of the information about the "Features" got lost in translation, I'll PM the full description for both to you when I have a moment.

Yup, that was me. Thank you.

I must admit, I am still not 100% happy with the battle system; it pretty superfluous. It also takes up a lot of memory, which I suppose could have been used to give another Ability to one of the characters. That being said, it is not meant to be difficult. It's supposed to just slow you down, and show off the different custom sprites more. (Each area has different enemies, and those areas have about 4 to 5 monster types each.) Of course, I allowed battles to be turned off for those who don't care for it. (Even I turn off the battles when playing. :$ )

For the 10 Anniversary Edition I reworked it to be a tiered battle system that becomes more "challenging" as you progress. Basically it's a percentile chance of HIT or MISS, and Characters learn Magic for instant win. The "challenge", though, is not all your Characters learn Magic right away, so you have to be careful walking around as someone without.

Your battle system looks awesome, and I love the graphic interface. (I am a fan of custom GUI systems.) It would be great to see this implemented in a full game.
