But can really spend a whole entire podcast talking about them flipping policy? We've already said a lot about XBox One the past 2 or 3 weeks. I think I'm a bit exhausted over raving about it for hours. Part of that is because I'm not getting it and we've spent a lot of time recently over it.

I'm just saying, it's the biggest in gaming news and it just happened yesterday. It'll be more relevant and interesting than anything we have to say about Let's Plays. I've been wrong before though so I guess we'll see.

It should definitely be hit upon. I don't see the entire episode being all Xbone again, though. Maybe a good half hour, though, certainly. I mean, it's a huge deal.

That's kind of what I was getting at. Talk about it for a bit, but not sit on it. We were going to talk more about E3 last time, but it became more of an XBox thing. I want to avoid that and try and have more to say than just rip on them for another full episode.

I think we need to discuss gaming as "culture" in the next Magcast. The reactions and the verbiage is just ridiculous. I don't want to be considered a gamer, especially if this is how people expect me to act because I play games like these queefs do.

Hey guys.

I have a pretty big announcement, and the reasons for which are no one's but my own and my own time management.

As many of you know, Brooke's father passed away several weeks ago very unexpectedly. As a result, we brought her mother home immediately and have been caring for her. Since Brooke is on her full-time care once again, my responsibilities have increased. There are nursing home bills to be paid from their therapy, and I will be getting a job very shortly to help us through this rough period.

There's also the matter of that my dream is to be a professional illustrator. I'm not getting any younger, and I need to dedicate more time to that. Along with everything else, I just don't think I am going to have the time to continue editing and posting MagCast.

This has actually been a thought running through my mind for roughly a month, but today I realized just how time-intensive things are going to get. I'll still be around the Mag, and will try to race when I can if at all possible.

I would love for people to continue this- I have the intro mp3, and the PSD for the title template. All you need is a way to record your computer sound and your own voice(which most people have considering the group LPs), and voila you can multitrack in Audacity and render as MP3.

I'm definitely sorry to hear you'll be getting busier, but I hope things will end up working out. Thanks for all of your work on the MagCast during its inaugural year. Actually, that MagCast we just did was pretty much the first birthday of the MagCast and we forgot to mention it!

That said, personal responsibilities will always trump the Mag. That's the truth for everyone. If people don't understand, then they just don't understand.

As for races, we could probably fit those in around your/Dray's times. I think Lantis and I are pretty much free in the afternoon/weekends.

However we decide on continuing Magcast (because we totally will) I hope you can still be a part of it. Also, we'll work around schedules to keep you in the races if you want to be in them. Or maybe find a way to record audio and video on one file time to eliminate editing all together. But you definitely have a full plate, so do what you need to. We'll be here.

I don't know how much work you put into getting these edited, but it doesn't sound that difficult. The opening is pretty much the same thing every time, right? So I'd just have to merge our audios and insert it after the opening.

That said, I don't know if I have anything that can open a PSD. If the background were an image file like a PNG, that would be easy to use, and my video editor allows me to place text anywhere on the screen.

At any rate, the title thing is a PSD so it can be edited from week to week. I tend to just save as PNG for the actual videos. Maybe Lantis can head that up and give the title PNG.

As for the process, exactly that. I just basically took the video from Hypercam and threw it into Audacity, cleaned it up some, and then added my own audio on a different track. Using the claps as a sync.

I'll be pming everyone the files ASAP. PSD is still on my external, but I need it today and will also put that in.

I am the new showrunner of the RPGM MagCast.

These are the rules of my format. If you can not follow them, you will not be allowed on the MagCast in the future.

1. You must be willing and able to give me quality mp3 files within 1 day of the MagCast session. Example: We record Monday at 1pm. As long as you get me the file by Tuesday midnight, that's OK. Wednesday is not acceptable.

2. The time for the MagCast is always Sundays at 6pm CST/7pm EST.

3. I will only allow a max of 4 people onto the MagCast, excluding myself, at any given time. The positions will be first-come, first-served.

Just throwing it out in the table if you want to take it. I can help with audio such as removing unwanted repetitive noises and whatnot. If you're fine with how things are then that's fine. Just figured I'd put that out there.
