I figured I'd try my hand at a General Discussion topic that is... well... very general!

What are you currently watching? What do you think of it?

Tonight, So You Think You Can Dance kicked off. I really like the show, much more than its American Idol counterpart. There's a lot less focus on judge drama... and drama in general, and the skill of the dancers shine through instead as they are tested in various styles of dance. Judges generally just critique(and quite fairly, too) so there isn't a huge OMG DRAMA BOMB aspect. I really, really respect that- but this is also probably why it has a lower viewership than Idol apparently. I'm really cheering for Mariah(a krumper), BluPrint, Fik-shun, and a couple other dancers.

Other than that, I'm usually watching American Pickers, Storage Wars, Gravity Falls, Bob's Burgers, and Adventure Time. S'pretty good. A lot of the other shows I like are on break right now...

On Netflix, I've been re-watching Arrested Development and trying to catch up so I can appreciate the new season. Show is legit funny, and I love it.

Anime-wise, I need to finish Kimi ni Todoke(which is super adorable and really rekindled my love of shoujo manga), and I'm thinking of starting up Sword Art Online and some other stuff.

Nothing! I rarely watch TV.

For the past 2 or 3 years, the only two shows that I have watched were The Walking Dead, and Game of Thrones, meaning I only watch TV between the months of October and May/June.

I haven't watched anything on Netflix in months, which is why I recently cancelled my subscription.

Ummm, I've been watching Black Lagoon recently. I don't watch a lot of TV ( I catch things like Game of Thrones, but that's about it).

I generally watch a lot of anime and shows online...normally through less savory means. I have a netflix account but I'm actually thinking of canceling it. The last little switch up they had got rid of a couple shows I like to watch and I'm not really pleased by it so eh.

Black Lagoon is friggen awesome.

I re-watch Star Trek: TOS/TNG/DS9 (sometimes Voyager and Enterprise) pretty much all the time. Also BSG. Right now, I am in season four of TNG and I started from season one less than a month ago.

It isn't often I will watch current tv.


If I were to give you my thoughts on TNG, it would be filled with praises and nitpicking, especially when discussing season one or the films.
