I'm planning on buying a desktop PC! Poor laptop can't nearly handle the things I try to do with it, and I want to expand a bit more my PC gaming experience. :D

Noice. I miss having a desktop PC, there are so many games on Steam that I want to play but can't due to having a not-so-great laptop.

Pain is the Asus.

Hey, Asus makes amazing hardware. Majority of my desktop PC consist of Asus manufactured parts. It's not Asus that's the problem, it's trying to do desktop processes on a laptop. Desktops are beefy and powerful. Laptops sacrifice that for the convenience of being portable. Which I think is a pretty shite trade-off.

I never knew how much I missed 3G until I didn't have it. Granted, there's 4G these days but I'm on a phone that can only do 3G. It's better than the speed of smell EDGE speeds.

The weekend visit is going well so far.

HOWEVER.

SHE MENTIONED HAVING WATCHED PEW DIE PIE. OH HOLY BALLS NO.

Then mentioned that Cry dude that LPs. Though I think he is considerably less bad but still does the horror game gig.

Though I think he can be pretty legit funny since I found this of him making fun of his own game from 2009-

Finally hit the local gaming store last night too. It's like cards, comics, used games. Really nice setup. However, it was card night and the back of the store smelled like BO. COME ON YOU CAN PLAY CARDS CLEAN MAN.

I got both of the Naruto GNT localized games on Gamecube for super cheap, an odd PS1 game that involves being the "Top Shop" and seems like a knock off of Fortune Street(Agetec published it), and some more WoW TCG boosters, but that was about it. Inside was cool, though. But my one moment of "heh" was when I saw they have PSO Episodes I & II on GC for $70. Plus is worth more than that used, and I don't think the base game is worth that much since it's more common. Though it doesn't matter since I have both versions and got Plus for super cheap.>_>

I was really hoping they'd have Cave Story 3D with boxart and manual, but they did not. No one does anymore, and then I realized it was an NIS game and I was dumb. Dem NIS new game prices, sheesh. $64 on Amazon new. Just whoaaa.

I got my new desktop :D
It's a Gateway. I'm liking it so far. I'm just waiting for my internet's data speed to be restored so I can get some updates and other thingies. :D
I also bought an external hard disc so I can begin storing all the crap I have scattered among a few computers lol. I'm planning on going to Radio Shack to see if I can get the cable that lets me use my monitor as a TV (However it's called)

I rarely talk about this kind of stuff, but the sales clerk that sold me the hard disk had the pretties green eyes. Or maybe it was his whole face. I'll need to reevaluate it when I go back to RS.

No no no. He meant actual chunks of gold in his physical mailbox.

Obviously.

That is a super impressive amount of gold however(and worth very real dosh haha).

I haven't tried Challenge Modes yet mainly cause I don't wanna mess them up. I also think people prefer Elemental over Enhancement Shamans, but it's something I really wanna try! Right now, my guild is in Heart of Fear(yeah, we're a super casual one day per week raiding team). However, whatever we do we tend to steamroll bosses since I think a lot of us used to be in a more raid-heavy environment. We got Garalon most recently, and then my friend from college whispers me and is like "How is Hear of Fear?" and I was just like "Yeah we just got Garalon 2-healing yay!" and then he mentioned how their more casual guild with the same old raider situation has hit drama on not being able to get Garalon down since like 5 people refuse to gear. They said they won't use stuff like Mr. Robot(I don't use it since I like to customize my stat weights dependent on gear, but it's a good resource) because they don't wanna get "too" into it. But using that thing is literally hitting like one button- and casual doesn't mean you have to play like crap. I'm also hitting up Throne of Thunder LFR as it has come out, and I'm working on leveling alts when I can for the fun of it.

Anyways- the weekend was great overall. On Sunday we made a random Wal*Mart trip because I hate myself and I wanted the Red Chrome Series 360 controller(has the new d-pad that doesn't suck quite so much). It was surprisingly okay for a Wal*Mart trip- not many screaming kids, etc. And hey- the controller wasn't on the shelves- but since I gave the super nice employee lady the UPC she found an unopened box of the controllers in the back room. I guess that's why they had them left still- they never put them out when they were released as a Wal*Mart exclusive in like June of 2012. The sucky part of the weekend was the push mower crapping out on me on tall grass, but it couldn't be blamed. Thinking of getting a grass-cutting plain-old-tool from Lowe's to help it. The ride-on mower has a dead battery, and though we tried to jump it we're probably just going to need a battery charger by the company. That thing would totally destroy that grass! It is literally like a patch that is 1/4 or less of the yard and it is killing me that I couldn't get it uniform.:P Yard work is really soothing though. I just take out my phone for streaming music and get some time to just get stuff done.

Leaving for drumline world finals tomorrow around 7pm. Though I'm not an age-out (I think I have 2 seasons left), this might be the last year I can join. It's been such a huge part of my life - 6 years, and it's the reason I went to Belgium and had that whole part of my life. This past season, it's been at least 20 hours a week, every week, so it's just been a big part of my life. I can't believe it might almost be over. Feels a little unreal, and a lot sadder than I thought it would be, even though the majority of this season has just been sh*tty. I'm seriously thinking about joining next year, even though it would mean driving home from Fargo every Friday and back up Sunday nights from November until April.

Go for it, Fruple, since it seems to be such a sincere desire on your part.

Good luck tomorrow! *gives knightly salute*

I'm upset. My brother lent me his friend's external hard disc so I could copy some mmo files he has.

Tera: Can't even reach the Sever select screen. Submitted a ticket, which got a quick reply, but I haven't been able to make it work yet.
Aion: Need to update directx but can't. Installation fails and haven't been able to find a way around it.

The only one I could actually run was Scarlet Blade, and an mmo where every playable character is a half to mostly naked lady doesn't really appeal to me. :/

And on non gaming related news, work has really been draining me emotionally. I thought I liked my job (and I like what I can potentially do) but now I dread having to deal with these specific kids again. :/

... I saw an ad for that game the other day while reading an article at Cracked.com.

Is it even humanly possible to design and comfortably wear outfits that revealing? The girls in gaming just seem to lose more clothing every year since the turn of the millennium.

Well, apparently they aren't revealing enough since you can go topless through a cash shop item.
