The game was good. It was more button mashy than more refined combat systems of other hack and slash titles. Ones that have very situational move sets that allow for awesome combos. This one was pretty much just combinations of light and heavy attacks. Which is weird because it was made by the same people who did Bayonetta, which had amazing combat. But the game was straight up action porn, and I enjoyed it for what it was worth.

Started epic Terraria tree house, found out it was TOO HIGH even on a medium world, then suddenly, harpies. Which in hard mode turn into those dragon things. BAH. So I destroyed my outline for my house, and now I'm mining down to fix the land and rebuild. Also found out about a VERY bad multiplayer glitch. Sometimes, the world you are working on will be overwritten with a friend's world. While I'd love to see an option to have a friend send you a world, not like that. I think the best way around that though is to just always join a dummy world of your own, save, and then multiplayer. Then hit up the dummy again after playing with other people, and then save and continue to your actual world.

Myoky and I have some unfinished business.

That unfinished business is Dark Cloud. We both faced a similar situation when we played this game; being unable to beat the final boss. I remember losing so many times to it. Its been so long since I've played the game, I wonder if it holds up? I guess we'll see. Pack your bread and water, Myoky, we're taking this sucka down.

Last night Fay and I took down Wall of Flesh. Only I had max HP, but neither of us had molten armor. I had Shadow, and she had Necro. It took a good four tries before we finally got him, but man, was it epic. Low level WOF takedown ftw.

Consequently my world is on hard mode now... got a lot of things that need to be done, first of which is upgrading some armor.

Actually, I don't think I have any wood on me. I'll probably make a new world to keep it pre-hard mode and gather some stuff there as well as maybe store a few things. Once I get some wood to fill in the ditch, I'll go back into the hard world and get it done. The Hallow is actually fairly close to my house as is.

Poor snow biome though... might be taken over by corruption. =/

Sunk nearly two hours into Dark Cloud. It holds up well for a game that was released in 2001. It blows my mind that the final boss in this game is a secret boss in Dark Cloud 2. And Dark Cloud 1's theme is the music played in that secret boss fight!

I finished NSMBU and I gotta say, the final boss was great. Obviously it's Bowser up to his old tricks but the way you fight him is pretty damn epic. But man, we need to get Wario back as a villain again. Seriously, another "Mario vs Wario" game would be so gooooooood.

Is it another giant Bowser? 'Cause they've done that in almost every NSMB.

As for me, still playing through Final Fantasy 9. I'm not gonna "Diet Dray" it, but I still want to play through it. I'm in the middle of Disk 2 right now, about to exit Fossil Roo. Next stop: Conde Petie.

In my search for aa free MMO that could run on my computer, I kind of forgot about Ni No Kuni.
I thought I found the one in Aion, which is (as they say) truly free. It does have a cash shop but it's for purely cosmetic purposes which is fine by me. It's also a lot more complex than the one I Was playing (Or Forsaken World was just really, really simple!)

After a week of playing it, creating tons of characters and checking which one I liked best, I can't now get into the servers. So... I'm annoyed. :/

Just beat Disk 2 in Final Fantasy 9. What a way to end a disk.

I got Tomb Raider today and have been playing a couple of hours now and I love it. It's a pretty intense game but I love how Lara is actually scared. You actually can relate to her. I say people who love adventure games should get it.

I'll be starting Tomb Raider this weekend, I believe. The only three games I've got queued up are FE Awakening (which I need a break from for a while) Dark Moon, and Tomb Raider. So I'm looking forward to that. I do plan to get back into Terraria to try and finish off the epic quest to obtain all the armor in the game. Ocram is such a stingy jerk...

Anyways, the past two days, I've been playing Candy Box. And I JUST beat the game. Like everything. I didn't alter source code or re-load my save when I lost. I am currently converting over all my candies to lolipops to try and get the bug console working in hopes of getting the best sword in the game. Don't really need it, but I think it's a good way to just kind of finish off the game. Looking forward to the sequel.

Once you beat the game Lantis, you can go into your inventory and access "Hard Mode".

I beat Tomb Raider a couple of days ago. It is a very good game and I highly recommend it. The main negative on it, for me, is the ending. It's short and kinda deflates you and makes you ask, "that's it?" I have more to do in the game, of course, but the story and gameplay alone was worth the $40 I paid for it.

Felt the same way about Bioshock Infinite, like... exactly.
