My friend lived in Japan for college for about 4-5 months, and had a blast. Kansai area though, but that suited her nicely.

I'm excited about MagCon. It will be so nice to stay in a hotel and not constantly worry about bed bugs, since I've read a ton of recent reviews with no mention. I actually quite enjoy staying in hotels, and had kind of missed it. Also, I read that Ruby Falls is like really close to the hotel. There's an entrance fee to get in, but I dunno how much. Regardless, I gots to go during one of the free times lol. GAME RESEARCH. That and I used to be a total stalactite and gem nerd when I was younger.

Tonight, we take the dogs over to the resort for drop-off in Lexington, and then heading home to clean some, bake some cookies, and pack things. Since we get a fridge, I'm thinking of making a potato leek soup, putting it in a cooler, and just having that for lunch since dinners will be heavy regardless, haha.

Going to Japan is one of my sister's biggest wishes. She plans to go in the next year or two and it does sound like a fun time. My friends and I used to joke around in high school about how awesome it would be to get lost in Japan and have crazy adventures.

Aside from the otaku stuff,  my biggest interest in Japan is, you guessed it, the bars. I've read about lot of cool small bars in Japan and it would super cozy to be in one of those among friends and family.

So, after MagCon and going to Lexington to most of the day today(I had a doctor's appointment followup finally), I am beat. Without going into huge details, that... thing every month is weirdly hammering me harder this month, and making me extremely tired. I'm getting some health stuff dealt with though, and that's good. I also need to make an eye appointment with Pearl or something cause my glasses are sooooo old and outdated within the realm of actually improving my vision.

Since we were in the city, I basically checked B & N for Munchkin. They had it! They had a ton of it. We got the base one and Cthulhu. Very cool stuff. I also got the whole Avatar trade comic that they put out. I originally tried to get the individual issues, but the comic book store looked at me like I was nuts when I requested it a while back.

Monster Hunter Wii U also came today, and I am excite. Although... this is the type of game I really wanna read guides for before I commit into building a character.

I've got regionals and I&E tomorrow for drumline, and I feel like it's going to suck. We have to perform in prelims and finals (no one else in our class until we go to world prelims, so we automatically advance), but the timing is different for regionals than for state - we only get 10 minutes overall, and in Minnesota we get 11. Problem is, last time we timed our show it took 10:54, and the school regionals is at has a really small gym, so it might take us even longer to set up. So that means we'll get a lot of penalties, which will not end well. Plus I'm performing a cymbal ensemble in the middle of the two shows, which we've spent all of 4 hours practicing, so it's going to be a crapshoot if it'll end up well.

All in all, it looks like I'll have to leave around 8.20 tomorrow morning, and I don't think I'll get home until midnight. And then I have to leave at 9am Sunday for our rehearsal, so not much time to rest up. I do enjoy drumline, but man does it kick my butt every weekend. Though less than a month until World Finals (and after that, having my Friday-Sundays back!)

Was out the entire day. had to do chores and shopping. Ended the day with Denny's. No matter what time it is, Denny's has you covered.

Lookin' good man. GIVE ME THAT FREAKING SHIRT DUDE. I want that one so bad, haha.
