And do share your screen! I know it might not seem beneficial or anything(I have one monitor), but people use it to see progress, and so Lantis can have an accurate final standings to talk about at the end.

EDIT: Duel has perfect recording quality. Seriously. It looks better than mine somewhat!

Anyways, they are .flv, and because of that I'll handle converting them Lantis. I got that to work fine too. So I'll just take care of that.

Now it's me who needs help. My Hypercam video is fine, but when I try rendering in Vegas I get visual artifacts and blockiness, which should not be.

Okay, real quick note here, guys. I won't able to join the next race (Im assuming its next week) due to some sudden complications with my sister's health that I found about this morning. That and I have to work even more this week.

Oh, Lantis, I was going to send you the videos yesterday but...I fell asleep at my laptop. Tonight though!

Yay! The first part is up. Thank you, Lantis.

I noticed I had a bit of an FPS drop when the screen got coin-intensive on the render. So I spent some time, doing various tests with mp4s and wmvs and yeah!

First off- I noticed MP4, unless I crank the bitrate to like 4,000,000 isn't too hot for me. I noticed that in my BOF3 renders where these little blurs and crap happened when I'd run. But I thought nothing of it- til now. WMV seems to just perform better, especially for old-school games for me.

So, I did identical length videos. MP4 was 26.1 MB, WMV was 21.9 MB. The quality difference was nuts.

Using WMV(pretty basic settings, 768,000 K bit rate as opposed to Sony MP4's 1,000,000 K bit rate)... it was the clear winner. I also fixed the issue of that lag that happened in the render where the switch palace coins jacked the frame rate.

So, I guess I'm going to move to WMV for uploading overall, and hopefully the rest of my race videos will be super nice. This is why I didn't send them in a huge batch- I care about my quality so, so much.

I actually prefer WMVs. So thank you very much.

If I could encourage you guys who haven't given me their Rescue Rangers vid, I'd really appreciate it.

great idea with the races guys, fun to watch ,entertaining and the generation of gaming that i really like and grew up on . all my friends have abandon and forgotten old games, well anyway just wanted to stop by and say hi and thanks for the great videos and if you ever need a racer i'd be down for it, also if you want race ideas i know a lot of games that'd be good for it too

Just for funzzies, I took a screenshot of all 21 tracks in any given part of a race.

Tracks 1 though 6 are all the individual labels under each screen. 7 is the LR logo at the bottom right of the screen. 8 - 19 are all six racers' video and audio tracks. 20 is the background music track and 21 is the background image.

Well, judging by what I saw in that screenshot, all I can say is...impressive!
