I don't feel the need to gush about every movie I see, but Dredd is now probably in my top 20 actions flicks of ALL TIME. Don't sleep on this film.

The difference between this and the 90s film is night and day. Karl Urban as Dredd is FANTASTIC. And the chick rookie cop Anderson was actually a BAMF. I usually hate the "hot-tough-chick" crap, but she completely won me over (no "oh men are this way" and blah blah). No, she was pure taking care of business. The chemistry those two had was really engaging.

I want a sequel to this movie SO BADLY. They nailed everything about the universe. I love this movie.

Deeper and I saw it Monday night. I have to concur with Ixz on this one. It's too bad the promotion was poor for this film.

I saw this because Ixzion was raving about it. It really is awesome and one of the most original action flicks in a long time. I feel like I'd appreciate it more if I were a fan of the comics.
