Apparently there's a severe exploit in Java that crackers have found that would allow them to install programs on your computer to steal your identity, use it to attack others, etc. The US Dept. of Homeland Security issued this one. Pay attention, guys.

Do you think setting Youtube as an exception is safe? Otherwise, it works no longer.:(

Yeah, Youtube definitely doesn't use Java. I have it disabled now and it's playing everything fine. YT uses flash.

Hm. Interesting. It wouldn't let me access my top right menu options earlier without it(it also wasn't loading video previews, but would play actual videos), but it's working fine now. Got it blocked!

I believe if you disable Java in your browser, this is fine. I didn't think Minecraft used Java, though.
