This might be old news to you guys, but I had no clue there was a mouse for Playstation 1.

Not very cheap though. I'm looking around to see exactly how it would function with RM1, but I'm not really finding anything.

I bet using it in Anime Maker is still a hassle. I use Valhalla's RPGC progam. It works great, that's how I got the red demon into The Inn.

That little program has made so much more possible. I can't begin to tell you how impossible it is to use anime maker. The mouse would probably help a little bit, but you are right. RPGC is a far better tool than anime maker. I'm just baffled that it says on the case that RPG Maker 1 supports the mouse, but they neglect to mention that the RPG Maker side of it... doesn't. I mean, mousing over characters to type out text wouldn't be fast. But hell, it is a lot faster than what you actually have to do.

I not only have a PSX mouse, but the official PSX mouse pad that goes with it! The mouse does make Anime Maker marginally more accessible.

Yeah! Inputting text with a controller was even worse. God, half of the 169 hours I spent making Bon's Dorito Dash was me inputting text.
