Lately my mom has been making softies (plushie dolls and animals) to give to underprivileged children. She was looking at idea books, and there was one with some really cute plush monsters. I helped her to design the shapes and faces for some home-made monster softies of our own design. She designed and sewed them. And I stuffed 'em (big deal ).

We got our first order! A friend of mom's wants to buy the orange cat and the rock monster who has a rectangle mouth with an "M" that forms closed teeth. So now mom has see if she can make duplicates of those two. She'll probably just give them to her friend.

I drew up patterns for a "Star Wars" spaceship softie. An ARC-170 Starfighter. I think it would be a cute softie if it turns out well. But it's a convoluted model to convert into a plushie, so mom's got that idea on the back burner for now.

I co-sign with Nex. Those are quite awesome and I'm sure some kids will be happy with them.

More monsters!

I had the idea for these. Mom designed them, and I stuffed 'em.

Also, a couple of mom's other creations and a lamb that she made for my sister.




Something new: The monster in the middle has an eye, teeth, and deco on both sides, as seen here.




Dog band. These are fabric prints. Mom cut them out and used them to make softies. I stuffed 'em.
These are smaller than the monsters and other softies.


Small dinosaurs. These are for putting in pockets of doll clothes and kids' totes.


Tiny cats and dogs. Each one is under two inches tall.




Larger dogs, cats, and an elephant.
Mom considers these failures. She's not happy with them. I dunno, they're not that bad.

I designed the blue guy. My sister designed the money monster in the middle.
And mom has been playing around with new ideas for the others.

Mom designed the red robot holding the wrench, but then she didn't like him. I like him a lot.
