Pro tip: If you left it off, it would keep your beer colder.

...with beer? I'm kidding though, why not? My tricks all involve tea and stuff for congestion. Which, my sinuses have been rampaging the past couple days. I've been taking medicine(downside, sleepyyyy), and just the usual dosage of stuff. I also need to take boxes back out to the storage building regardless, so that makes me sad for it is cold and rainy outside. But someone's gotta do it, and it might as well be me since stuff.

And I'm going to just take it easy today(after said box replacement), then edit stuff tomorrow probably. Maybe grab a latte or a hot tea or something. It is all there is to do around here for entertainment outside the house.:p

So, I was planning on getting on the Mag last night?

WHAT HAPPENED THEN?

I'll tell you.

MICE! MEESES! MICES! HOLY

Since there's a field nearby, and it's getting cold out- we expected a few. We thought there was one in the sunroom(the one that crawled down the back TV cords FAST when I was playing Rock Band 3), and the laundry room/pantry. Yeah, my girlfriend's aunt and uncle are full stupid rednecks... some background- their idea of "cleaning" is basically stacking things to "look purdy" I guess. But when you stack food, clothes, and cardboard.... do you know what you get? PERFECT MOUSE CONDITIONS. And hard-to-get at ones. We've asked them to stop "helping" or at least take care of that pile of stuff. They did not. So we finally just decided to do it ourselves... and yeah, it was a multi-tier mini-mouse nest. They had a mason jar box completely made up like a rodent's paradise... ate TONS of food(including entire bag of chips and a couple chocolate bars in the pantry), and my girlfriend and well, me on backup, managed to haul out roughly 4 mice last night to release far away. They were literally falling off shelves at some points. I think we have nearly all of them now, but one escaped for sure... but yeah, we put our trap back into the laundry room needless to say after cleaning so much ick... and caught another one before a late, late bedtime. So yeah.... we're definitely going to invest in some steel wool and whatnot, and get an exterminator to help mouse-proof the house. I think anyone can get like 1-2 field mice, but what happened from sheer ignorance-is-bliss mentality was terrifying. The mice themselves were cute and super tiny, but not something we'd like to keep around obviously.:P Or kill... especially since we had to release two babies with a parent.

But yeah, that was my night after moving boxes en masse! It's a circus sometimes, yup.

It resulted in a fun quote though:
"I think they settled in so much that I saw one reading "War and Peace"... and then it ate it!"

I read that as a horror story. That sounds scary as hell, if I saw that many mice I'd probably faint. However, I imagine of all those mice wearing fancy clothes and driving mini-cars. Speaking of surprises, I remember finding a black widow while moving stuff around the house. Scarier than Silent Hill and Slenderman combines. Yeesh.

I bet people have had worse mouse problems, haha. I think there were like 7 total. And we got 5 of them caught and released in safe brush many, many miles away(or else they come back)!

Our mouse traps from Amazon hold like 2 mice each, and they don't hurt the mouse at all. And they love going into them since they see them as a shelter from my blue heeler, who is a total mouser. She herds them into the traps haha. We have a good synergy going.

Though, your spider story is MUCH scarier. I'd much rather have a cute problem than ants or deadly spiders. Or spiders at all. I'm terrified of those.

As for now, I listened to a podcast today live, now I'm gonna work on getting our two episodes edited and uploaded, and then I'm going to listen to someone else's other podcast. WONDERFUL PODCAST DAY IS DECLARED

I live about 50 yards from a farm. I too have had mice in the house due to cold weather. You can totally tell they are field mice. I killed one, chased another out my back door, and nearly got a third just a couple hours ago.

We never had mice until last week. I don't plan on having any mice come the new year.

Their favorite hiding place at my house is behind the oven. I pulled out the bottom and threw a trap back there.

And I vote more Gunbound tomorrow or somthing. Magbound. Because holy crap avatar people are nuts.

Im glad I dont have to deal with mice, Im afraid to touch them thinking I might get bitten and catch something, I dunno.

Gunbound was awesome and yeah, most of those overloaded avatars seem to be jerks. they definitely have insane skills...or aimbots. I might stick to the boomerang mobile, I did pretty decently with it.

That bigfoot, man, rough stuff.

I tried playing that mobile on a level that had wind. I swear, it's impossible to aim. By the time you get a good angle, the wind changes and ruins your shot. NOVICE SERVER FOR ME!

GUYS. WHOA.

http://gunbound.ca/?

Someone made a private server of GunBound classic. :D
It's worth mentioning it is regularly updated as well, checked out their site feed and Facebook feed.

Might be cool. I'm gonna check it out before people get home from work and stuff. It might be easier to get an account started... that's for certain. But this is Classic GB.:D

They also have a points system(to help keep server afloat, which is understandable); HOWEVER, the old client definitely also supported PERMANENT avatar items for just in-game currency. This is why I think it's better- I mean, avatars aren't the only point of the game... but, well- they're a good portion of the meat in customizing your character.

Also, for adding people we may have to use their site:
Q: When are you going to fix the buddy list?
A: Leo did the best he could with it, you can add people through the site at the bottom of the "My Gunbound" page. You can also click this: http://gunbound.ca/?category=mygunbound ... statistics

There's also guilds. Cool stuff!

Sad stuff: No windowed mode. But the original didn't have it either.
