Mass Effect 2 has the highest completion rate

ME2 apparently has the highest completion rate within the realm of the Mass Effect and Dragon Age games. I think the stats are pretty interesting, I guess they're basing this off achievements?

Mass Effect 2 topped the charts with 56 percent of players completing the entire game, followed by Mass Effect 3 with 42 percent, Dragon Age 2 with 41 percent, Mass Effect with 40 percent and finally Dragon Age: Origins at the lowest rate of 36 percent.

The spike in Mass Effect 2's completion can be attributed to Mass Effect 3's recent launch, when an influx of players were reminded of the game and attempted to finish it before that release, Melo said.

Anywho, what do you all think of the news? Personally, I think it's kinda cool they can track this with games, and maybe look to improve their product. I haven't played ME3, but I did expect the ME3 figures to be the highest completion rate.

I feel like this isn't about achievements, but is just the percentage of people who bought the game and actually made it to the credits. I'd be very surprised if 56% of people that bought ME2 were able to complete it on Insanity Difficulty.

I've beaten all of those games, soooooooo.....

Ah, I meant the achievement for just clearing the game once.

A lot of games have those, so I imagine it'd be easy to track. I haven't 100%'d many games, either.

Wait, what? I'd say if there's any game out there that less than 80% of all players didn't make it to the credits, then that game failed horribly. Like, that's really embarrassing. Specially since Bioware seems to be proud of those numbers.

I have to agree on that front. Bioware is uh... kinda in la-la land sometimes. Like with their excitement at their Star Wars MMO numbers too.

I think it's also a statement piece on gaming now. I know my backlog is FFFF huge. I mean, I own DA:O, ME1 and ME2, and I've completed none, but started all.
