DITTO. That is an amazing macro.XD

But in all seriousness, the whole father hate thing, and the younger son getting bullying while the older son kinda favors him, then goes berserk. Though it definitely didn't end the same way... but I don't think this is the last we'll see of the brothers.

They need their WHAT A TWEEST moments after all, haha.

That is SO spot on.

I hope the Asami thing doesn't come to pass.:( It'd be so cool if she got more stuff going on.

It's already come to pass. And while I actually like her character more than anyone else on LoK, I honestly don't think I want her to come back in the second season. Firstly, she has no real reason to be there anymore. The only reason she stuck around was she had no where else to go and she and Mako were a thing. Well, not so much anymore. Secondly, if she is kept around, she'll only be used to bring back more drama. You know, because of Mako's confession to Korra and all that garbage. In fact, you can 100% expect that if you see her face in season two, retarded drama is going down. And finally, she could be used as a new antagonist. I mean, it would be a total shock for one. But she does have motives. She is now extremely emotionally compromised. And her reason may go as such: "My father was right. These cruel binders do nothing but hurt people. See? This one just broke my heart! Boo hoo. First my mother, then my father, and now me. I won't stand for this!"

Either way, I don't see anything good coming from her sticking around... despite how much I actually like her character, who was by far the most developed out of the whole cast. And that should tell you something about the series as a whole.

I can definitely see that. They've ALREADY done that this season, when she's infinitely more interesting than Mako. What is the most shaming part, is that's the character named for the voiceactor of Uncle Iroh, who passed. I think Iroh(the new dude), should've been named Mako instead, and Mako cut from the whole flipping show. They needed to not finish out Team Avatar in one season, for one. I think Asami and Bolin would've been enough. But they wanted to hit their "demographic", being obsessed that fans that got into the show when they were 12 would want this stupid romance drama(very poorly played) and all that. I mean... why is Mako in love with Korra anyways and vice versa? They haven't even been around each other that long. I mean, at least Aang waited til like the middle of season 2 with Katara. Part of what made the original Avatar so charming, were the side stories as well. I fully believe that the side characters make a very compelling plot... yeah it's a bit of the "save the world, defeat empire" tale... but you get attached to Aang's journey via his interactions with various people. You want to see them saved(also one of my rules for RPG design incidentally:P), but you actually care. I didn't even care that much about who did what in Korra, and got trolled hard since in the first episode, we're treated to a very interesting hobo character, and her helping out the shop owner that was under attack and all. The hobo came back in the last episode, for two seconds.

I can definitely see what Ixz said. They were rushed. Maybe they were trying to fit two seasons of romance plot into one(I'm definitely not against them, but slapdash heck no). The action feels like that too, because I guess they needed to have the show feel complete with one season. I think it's going full stupid that Nick didn't sign them to like 3 seasons to begin with, so they could develop story accurately. What else is there to even watch on that network anymore? iCarly? Since I hope they realize they've dropped the ball here(some fans on the Facebook official page, well, a lot of them were super disappointed with the finale), then I hope they learn from this and fix the wrongs. I also have a feeling, despite saying it's only two seasons from what I've heard- they're gonna get asked by Nick to do a 3rd season anyways.

Though I'll give Nick ONE cookie. They apparently have retro programming on Friday nights with stuff like "Are You Afraid of the Dark"(EXCELLENT SHOW), and like, "Hey Dude", and all the older shows, and a couple older Nicktoons. I personally think Fridays should just be Retro Nick Fridays. I am biased cause I love just about all the Nick gameshows, too.:D

Korra's been confirmed for 26 new episodes AFTER the last 14 of Season 1, Book 2 have aired:

http://inspredwood.tumblr.com/post/2699 ... odes-after

Quote:
Dan Snierson, author of the EW article, confirms to us via Twitter that Nick has ordered 26 episodes to air AFTER the “original 26-episode order.” “This new 26-ep order is for “Season 2,” he tells us after saying “”Season 1, Book 2” airs in 2013, part of the original 26-episode order.” Take these together and some form of 26 new episodes after book 2 has been confirmed! They could either have a 26 episode Book 3, or spread the 26 episodes into Books 3 and 4.

Finally, Nick is getting it right. Unfortunately, they didn't do enough to save Korra Book 1. However, now that 26 episodes are confirmed for Season 2, the ball is FIRMLY in the studio's hands. I'm think I'm going to going to wait for Season 2 to fully judge where they're taking this series.

Amen. Now that they know they're not being rushed, I think they can really take their time, and get all their nuances developed(landscapes, people, subplots), without the breath of the network upon their neck. Very excited!

I, for one, am still skeptical.

I've got my eye on you, Dan.
