I was debating between demon hunter and monk... but the healing abilities won me over. Let me know when you're in and I'll be glad to assist you in skeletal king slaying.

As of right now, I'm sitting at the beginning of the final act, as a level 30 Witch Doctor. I'm debating whether or not to jump straight into Nightmare difficulty or to do a run of the "secret cow level" (Not really a cow level in this game) once I finish normal difficulty.

I have a level 10 Wizard as well if you guys wanna hit up some act 1 some time.

So I'm not too far from Belial on inferno. Decided to take a break until I can get some backup help. Repair cost is getting a bit too high. So until then, I started playing a demon hunter. He's about at the same place in normal as my monk is in inferno. I plan on just rushing through the game and sit there on nightmare until you, Fay, catch up. And if you're cool with it, we can run through nightmare and on up till I can switch back to my monk.

Sounds good! I begin my push for NORMAL'D tonight, meaning, completing Normal Mode by Monday morning. Though, it shouldn't be that hard haha. I hear Demon Hunters are plenty fun, too.:D

Though, I've not beaten the game yet, so it may be a bit longer. Either way, I'll shoot for early next week being ready to move on up.

Magic Find isn't working as intended(honestly, I agree here because it turns into something you have GOT to do to keep up on the AH and whatnot, as well as upgrading your own gear).

http://wow.joystiq.com/2012/07/03/blizz ... -feedback/

I am seriously hoping Blizzard goes with option 1. I think a Magic Find cap is the perfect way to go, and people can still do what they do, but I found the fact that it wasn't capped in the first place ridiculous. I mean, I'm used to playing WoW, so there's usually some sort of cap to hit in any stat, then past that it's diminishing returns.

On the monk'o'mine news, I just bought a snazzy set of high dex rares with exp boost from the AH, no piece costing over 5k gold. I am hoping to do a bit of AH sharking like I do in WoW eventually on here, once I get all capped out, haha.

I say Blizzard should completely rid the game of the Auction House and not do anything to magic find.

The only reason the game has an auction house at all is because blizzard thinks it has to make more money than they do by just selling copies of the game. They also hope that by nerfing MF that it will cause people to keep playing the game down the line as they will have to spend more time farming for gear. I guess they don't realize that still to this day, Diablo 2 has a huge population of players, even though farming for gear in that game has become useless and a lot of people just give away OP gear for free now.

I think it's a double-edged sword.

But, that sword is sharper on the seller's side. Basically... nothing ever has to leave the economy. Well, aside from crafting supplies I suppose. But since gems and Legendaries and everything aren't soulbound, I think you're gonna see a return to Diablo 2 in a few years. It's gonna be cheap everything on the AH. Right now, people are pretty much giving away rares like that. I think if Blizzard wanted to make fat cash off the RMAH, they would've made stuff soulbound so things would exit the market eventually.

I quite like it for that. Gives me a pool of more items to I can itemize my stats where I want.:P

But yeah, the AH prices are already super low. And the only people who will make money on the RMAH at this point are level 60s who find something super incredibly rare. But I think even that's gonna fade over time, and it certainly isn't bad as is. I've had a few friends get some good selling done on there, since they hit 60 way early.

But the whole nudge right now of "oh, I need to put on MF gear before the boss dies" is a bit counter productive. I think if they cap it off, you'd see about the same amount of drops without having something that doesn't really benefit players, especially people on Inferno that are melee.

As I see it, if you don't like AH, just don't go there. Just stack MF and hope for the best, I guess. As for me, I'll pop in there every twenty levels or so just to top off my character with some cheap buyout gear. You'll be fairly surprised to find some gear much better than what you got for only a few K.

Speaking of which, Fay, I played up to where we quit with my mage. I think I'm going to switch to him instead. I just finished gearing him up fairly well. Also, I think his skillset bests supports monk anyways.

I DA TANK, YOU DA ENCHANTRESS ERR WIZARD.

Seriously though, anything ranged damage rocks for me. I am very lucky- all the elites I get usually have plague and/or fire trails.:P

Also, my monk is level 38 now.:D

EDIT: 51. And, I finally think I've found a build that works. Monks need flipping the reach skill for serious. Touching mobs in Act IV Nightmare even is a uh, nightmare. should help. I was getting greedy on dps skills on my bar.XD

Quick/important note- there's apparently an exploit in public games(go figure, these days) where people can spoof sessions and basically take over your character. The Rift MMO also had this problem at launch, but quickly patched it. Blizz is still in the denial stages. Just be careful, and don't open up/join public games. Not like I'd want to anyways since I'm a pretty private person, but I think it's worth mentioning.:(

This same thing happened in D2, and this also happened for about a week or to when this game first launched. Blizzard denied it then as well, and I'm surprised they haven't fixed it yet.

Unfortunately the lowest level character I have of any class is in their 30's. Fay and I are currently gearing up for Inferno. I've made it as far as act 2, but got a little hung up in the waterways. So after we're content with our gear, we're going to start from act 1 and see how far we can get.

We're both monks.

There has been an exploit on Battle.net recently. Names were not compromised, nor billing info- but emails, encrypted passwords, and authenticator info was apparently. Also- they got the secret question and answer as well, but there's currently no option to change that manually right now on BNet. Blizzard has said they will be asking people to do that on login in the coming days.

Personally, I changed my email address and password, and then updated my authenticator to a new serial code.

And one more thing- I didn't even click the link from the security notice to do this- just go to battle.net itself to handle it.:)

Luckly, the only battle.net game I have is diablo 3. And I bought that tangibly. So I have not billing information on my account. Woot.

You can change security questions and all that today. The game is also getting a starter edition with free to level 13 leveling and all that, through the SKELETON KING.

I need to get more money. That's my block right now, haha. I'm saving up for resist gear and a big-butt shield to help the harder mode.

I'm pretty much all geared up. In inferno, normal enemies and bosses don't seen to cause me much problem. But certain combinations of skill on champions and elites will just destroy me. I've got almost 1000 on all resist with OwE. I'm about 25k HP, and 12k DPS.
