Working my way through Hell difficulty in D3.... very slowly. It was big jump from Nightmare to Hell. I'm currently in Act 2, and I've found that it's very rare for me to die fewer than 2 or 3 times fighting a pack of Champion/blue mobs.

You are a hero among men. That game is one that, even without playing it myself, I know takes a huge commitment.

It requires several playthroughs and many hundreds of hours. There's a point where you have to use every single character in combat, which most people aren't accustomed to since each character has a different fighting style. Most people stick to Yuri or Repede due to their familiar and basic fighting style. But start using other characters and it's kinda weird. Karol and Judith were probably the toughest to get used to. Judith is an aerial fighter and juggles enemies a lot, and you can sometimes screw up combos, and you're not going to be very good with hitting multiple enemies with her. Karol is just very sluggish as fighter, so he can have trouble. You do have to start at least 4 or 5 completely new games (all EX Game after the first playthrough) to be able to get everything necessary.

Yeah, Lantis. You too. I'm sure there's no one else in our circle that will be able to 1000 DMC HD Collection. Congrats.

I've been playing Lost Odyssey.

I've owned it since release day but never got further than about half way through disc 2. I'm currently about at the same point that I stopped the first time I played it.

This game has the ultimate selection of characters for a JRPG, an immortal man, his immortal wife, and their two grandchildren (which happen to be complete clones of Palom and Porom).

For the past month, I played Xeonblades Chronicles for the Wii. Awesome game.

I bought knowing only it was a jrpg and that apparently it had a mmo feeling. At first I thought it would have a sucky/nonexistant story and I would spent most of my time doing side quests... I was half right. The game does have a decent story and TONS and TONS of side quests (Which consist of killing certain monsters or collecting certain materials and collectibles)
And while the story is very linear, the maps are HUGE. I like the fact that you destination is always nearby but you can still take massive detours exploring each region for hidden landmarks and stuff.

The AI is fairly decent too. The tank knows how to keep aggro to himself and the healer actually keeps you healed. Also, I don't remember grinding pointlessly (since I was always exploring or doing sidequest, I got all the exp I needed to survive for the next area)
My only grip is that once I did all the side quests (ignored most of the high level unique mobs) I was way overleveled, and the last boss became a joke.

Finished it last week after ~140 hours of gameplay.

I nearly have all the achievements in Saints Row: The Third. It is a ridiculous and fun game.

Also, I have begun playing Unchained Blades on PSP. It has the feeling of being a deep game and once I put a few more hours into it, I will form a proper opinion on it. Although, from what I played so far, it is a very promising and fun RPG.

I just started Lollipop Chainsaw.

AWW YEAH. I am enjoying it so much, haha. So over the top. Also, Tara Strong.XD I never thought I'd be playing these kinda games even 5 years ago, but L4D desensitized me.:D

I'm starting to make a push into my backlog. I'll also be playing Mass Effect alongside it. Depressingly enough, I checked ME's case and I have a Gamestop receipt from 2009 in there.:P

I'll be streaming live tonight on www.twitch.tv/insultobot. Either Xbox360 or PSP.

I will likely be continuing my new Star Ocean: Second Evolution Rena save.

Requests welcome, guests welcome. Hit me up in the mag chat late tonight.

Sorry I missed it. Had a lot of fun last time. Speaking of, you'd better keep playing Mana Khemia.

As for me, I've stacked about 100 hours on my monk alone in Diablo 3. Kind of got hung in Inferno by myself. Since then, I've been playing a few of the Summer of Arcade titles on XBLA. Namely Trials Evolution and Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD. Trials has a new online mode which has been a ton of fun. And Tony Hawk is... well Tony Hawk. You played one, you played them all. Actually, this version is kind of "the best of" really. It has a lot of the classic levels and music... just touched up in HD. For 15 bucks, it's totally worth it though. I haven't really played a THPS title since 3.

But what I'm looking forward to is what I will soon be playing. Next week Dust: An Elysian Tail drops. It's an inde game I've been waiting on for years. Not only that, but Darksiders 2 releases a day before. And on top of that The Last Story also comes out.

I'm about to be a busy gamer.

Currently playing Dead Space 2. I started two days ago. On the first day, I got to Disk 2/Chapter 7. Yesterday, I made it to Chapter 8.

Also recently bought the Left 4 Dead 2 DLC that features the original L4D 1 maps in L4D 2. Had a blast with SK, Syn, and 1ce.

We need to get in there again.

This is the state of my Backloggery: http://backloggery.com/Raccoonish
But that's an improvement over what it was: an absolute mess. A large chunk of the games that I had listed in it were games I no longer own, and half the games on the list are unbeaten. I decided I wanted to start with a clean slate. So I'm going to play through all of my games, and only add them to my Backloggery as I get to them.

First up on the list is Yoshi's Island. At this point, I've already beaten World 5. For this playthrough, I decided to revive an alternate Youtube channel that I once tried to move to, and have been uploading videos of my progress. Gives me a bit of extra incentive to actually finish the game, or else have myself an unfinished playlist. And yes, this playthrough is how I managed to catch the epic save on video. Here's the playlist of that adventure so far (warning - super long videos): http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5F33A3562FC90991

I finally replaced my broken headset. Now I will be able to play online again on PS3, XBox360, and PC. Most importantly I will be able to resume LPing and streaming.

After a lot of back and forth on several options I ended up getting the Turtle Beach XP500 since they offer 7.1/5.1 surround, complete compatability for all three of my online devices, and chat over bluetooth on all three. With it being bluetooth, I feel pretty comfortable with the possibility of working on the next generation of consoles, so I should get about five years out of this, more if I'm careful with it.

As far as actually playing things, I have been taking it easy and focusing on short term games and ones I have previously beaten and can drop in a second. This is of course to keep my plate clean so I can get a huge serving of Borderlands 2.

26days.

Oh gosh, I only have 26 days to 100% Darksiders 2 and Dust. And I still haven't even started The Last Story yet. But yeah, glad you're going to be able to get back on the LP scene.
