1. Could you go over what you presented this year at Magcon?

Like a few years before, SK and I showed off another part of Arc Arath. This year we showed off the area of the game in which I took the first screen shots that I submitted here at the Mag back in 2006. This was probably the last public showing of the game before it's release, so I hope SK and I left a good impression. Though other games like Rincar really put the pressure on us.

2. What do you think might be a good estimate of when you might release your game?

We should be finishing up the rest of the dialog for the game this year. Hopefully within the next six months. With battle balancing and playtesting to do, I guess that it could be about a year and a half at the rate we are going.

3. Is there anything you wish you would have added to your presentation?

It's really hard to pick out any one section of our game and hope that it impacts the player the way we wanted without full context of what has happened up to that point in the game. I believe SK has done an incredible job with the dialog, and I kind of think that anything we have shown (now or in the past) loses a lot of it's meaning without having read up to the point. But we couldn't possibly expect everyone to read that much dialog, so yeah.

4. What did you think of the presentation and live reactions this year?

It was fairly similar to the previous years. I felt that it was well received. Though I'm a bit worried that having such a long build up for the game (about ten years now) that it's hard to keep people interested in the game. But hopefully we'll come through in the end and deliver something at least worth the player's while.

5. What other games at MagCon did you find impressive and why?

Totally Rincar. I was a bit disappointed that it was moved from RPG Maker 1 to XP. I thought what Guarionex had in RM1 was fantastic. But I have to say that the move to XP was a good idea. The game was really good. The humor wasn't over the top like in the majority of RPG Maker games and the world was interested and the story engaging. Really looking forward to the finished product.

6. What other games would you like to see a live presentation of at MagCon 2013?

Slayers' Reign. *glares*

7. Can we expect to see something from you next year?

Probably not. I can't possibly think of anything else I could show that wouldn't be a spoiler or just wouldn't make sense without having played the game up to that point. I think SK and I have shown off a good deal already and hopefully it's enough to keep everyone interested.

This year's presentation of Arc Arath is below.

Note 1: Political Incorrectness and Bad Language inside.
