I was playing around with a blank Sudoku grid, and I thought, "How hard are these things to make?" I started filling in numbers and discovered it's not too hard to make one. Then I selected some clues for it. My sister worked on solving it, and with an addition of a couple more clues, my personal puzzle was complete. See if you can solve it.

Using the numbers already provided on the grid as clues, fill in the blanks so that each row and column has the numbers 1 through 9, and each 3x3 cube of squares also has the numbers 1 through 9.

Alas! Though I valiantly attempted to solve the sudoku, I make a few guesses and now I'll have to start over. These things can be tricky.

Congrats! Yeah, it was easily solved in another forum, too. Guess I'll have to try to make a harder one some time.

basically just put less starting numbers in to make it harder.

But you MUST have 17 for single correct solution puzzles. Any less and there are multiple solutions. Of course you can still have some puzzles with multiple solutions that have over 17 clues. It is just a matter of which clues are given.
