Oh, duh. Photobucket. I was just thinking that last night, but I guess I forgot while I was at work.

Edit. On second thought, no. Photobucket's upload rate is WAY too slow, and it has that ad playing over and over while the file uploads.

There's also Sendspace for larger files. I think their limit is higher than Mediafire's. Photobucket does suck though. I need a better image host than them, seriously. Perhaps I'll need to start using my Imaginary account-thing here, because the addition of those video ads that play anytime you upload something is getting to me. I just want a place to host some stuff I need to post on forum threads and share with others.

Man, I have had a heck of a time getting the .AVI I have into Vegas. At least now I know that the Techsmith AVI codec(Camtasia) is crap. Not really relevant though, since I have finally gotten Hypercam 3 to work.

Hopefully, there won't be any problems- I kinda rushed to set up everything so I could record ASAP. Sizing should be fine though. Audio seems synced alright. I'll probably have my first video sent by tomorrow morning.

I am so darn excited to use Hypercam though. Thanks again for the Xvid settings, Dray.

EDIT: Well, that was rather short lived. Vegas does not like DivX or XviD files. I'm trying using the Techstudio one I have with Hypercam. I hope it works better.

You know, if you guys were willing to learn how to use FTP, I can totally set up accounts for you all to use the Mag's space. We have unlimited space and you wouldn't have to rely on free hosts.

negro, I know how to use FTP. Just need a server. Are you willing to host it?

Also, all the videos except the first one came out sped up a little, so all of them but the first one is desynced >.>

Can totally host doesn't mean he's willing to necessarily from a semantics standpoint.

Does anyone else need racing subdomain/ftp access? I already got Syn hooked up and I can teach anyone how to do this relatively easily. Best of all, fast upload and download with infinite uptime.

Also, for some reason- and I tested this junk... the ones I recorded for Camtasia(the race) HATES Sony Vegas. Techsmith codec(Camtasia's preferred codec). And then I recorded using Hypercam 3 a half-hour video as well, using the same codec... and Vegas didn't freeze every two seconds using it. No desync or anything though, and I can eventually get Vegas to take it. Just so odd how that works.

The PM didn't send, I'm afraid. And yours is the last of the 6 I'm missing. If I get it soon, I should be able to get part 1 up before Magcon. If not, it's no biggie.

I don't know what all you guys are planning to do with the Mag's YouTube channel now that Magcon is over, but I'm kinda thinking, these races seem like they'll typically include just us Mag members, thus kinda making the races a Mag event, so why not upload them to the Mag's channel?

Then that channel would be more for Let's Playing than anything else. Specially if someone like NintendoCaprisun pops in again. I think it would be much better for our own personal channels as it would probably get use more subs if they view it from our channels and not just link from the Mag's. So, as soon as I finish up editing part 1 of the second race, I'll start uploading that (as well as the previous race [not to mention the SMRPGR vids recorded at the con {holy crap that's a lot of uploading I'm going to be doing}]) to the mag servers for you guys to download if you wanted to re-up them on your channels.

Though if you still wanted to put them up on the mag channel, a playlist wouldn't hurt.

Nah, that makes sense. (Though I might bring this up again depending on how V6 does its "branching out".)

Uploading, now! Curse my slow upload speed. And the fact that our internet got bought out by Time Warner. I just hope they don't impose those ridiculous bandwidth limits.

I also hate editing these things! Rather, syncing commentary and compressing. I love Vegas and it does work for the files, but Camtasia made some very nice, but very Vegas-no-likey-at-times files so it takes a while to do a simple thing.

SOOO glad Hypercam is workin now. It makes the LP process much easier for me, too. And Vegas loves Hypercam AVIs.

EDIT: Also one small note, my youtube url is SuperOrangeGamer... so the link's busted. Sorry for the confusion Lantis. If you could edit that whenever you have some time, that'd be cool. Either way.
