Like you all care, I know. It has been far to long, and while I wanted my grand return to be with me bearing a fresh batch of Magpies, Sadly this is not the case. Nor is it the proper location to discuss such things, (So get your cursor off the "move topic" button, there...um...whoever...mods this forum. sorry didn't check.)

SO ANY WAY...

Where have I been for the better part of a YEAR? Playing Minecraft. Hate to say it, but it might just give RPGM a run for its money if the future features list and patch notes is/are to be believed. There is talk of an "Adventure Mode" and Importing maps from Creative mode. And while RPGM certainly blows Minecraft away in terms of raw coustomizeablity, you don't have to code Minecraft. If you want to build a castle, no need to set up flags or switches that determine entrance and exit events; no need to spend countless boring hours in a clunky editor (I'm looking at you RM3), or basically learning a stripped down version of C++ just to get some gate to open reliably every time.

Don't get me wrong, I love RM. I still do, however, as a pure creation tool it is like the full blown Adobe Photoshop CS6 Pro. It's got lots of bells and whistles, and there really are some things that only it can do, but sometimes...
...sometimes all I want is Plain ol' Photoshop elements. It's got every thing I need, nothing more nothing less. And it's a HELL of a lot more accessible. Minecraft is like that. A story is written simply by virtue of you playing it, and if you work hard, (and can do some fancy virtual wiring) you can make a game experience that rivals any AAA title. And you don't need an action replay max or outdated dex drive to share worlds. Just an upload account on a file sharing service, and in most cases, not even that.

But, I digress. Meat & Potatoes time folks.

Welcome back to the site, Staffy. I have seen Minecraft before and Lantis plays the crap outta it. I just can't get into it, but it's always cool to see what people do with it.

Sorry about the wait. I wanted this up before Christmas, but youtube was being a right bastard about up loading vids, and then family concerns ate up any time I had remaining to work on the uploading process. But now that's fixed! YAY!
